Canon is Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines
Yes, by now I think everyone knows there's going to be "a sequel", but be reasonable. It's still at least a year off. That's a long wait, for someone with your lifespan, and this place is beyond inefficient for us both.
You remind me of Grout, trying to "cure vampirism" for decades on end, and letting what you want to be true guide your attention rather than ascertaining what is necessary to secure an objective. You don't even have an objective.
I can help you, if you just ask. That's what my clan are best at: redirecting fruitless energies to a better, more unified cause.

-Oh! Oh, uh, geez, yeah, that was kinda rude of me. Uh, Macauliffe. Hi! Nice threads, dude.
Yeah, well, it's only been- how many years? 15? Kind of a long wait, but what's one more?
[The extended warranty doesn't cover EMPs. Oops.] Huh?! [Busted.] Ah shit. Can you blame a girl for wanting to snap pics for photographic proof?

No time at all...
Ordinarily I would say never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake, but I'll give you some free advice, here, Macauliffe - advice I wouldn't give you if you and I were in a place that isn't so 'meta'.
It's very dangerous to interfere with secret societies and monied powers. You may think you have noble intentions, but those inclinations won't protect you.

Just don't look at the calendar. Makes it go faster! Or at least it makes it feel like it goes faster, anyway.
Is that Napoleon you just quoted? [Wait, off-topic.] Believe me, I know. Folks like you? You're way outside my class. And half the Compacts I know of would default straight to 'kill on sight' with you all and never give it a second thought.
The Network's in it for the long haul. It's about getting that one story- that one video- that'll blow the lid off the whole thing in one fell swoop. It's just hard not to go for the gusto even when this weird meta thing means it'll never stick. You know?

Hmmn. Who is your mun most eager to see, or are they just generally excitable for 'new content'?
Pithy quotes are all he was good for, believe me. [LaCroix doesn't particularly want to teach a class on What Not To Do, As Demonstrated By My Human Boss From Long Ago.] Does that ever bother you? The idea that some of your fellow witch hunters are as merciless and bloodthirsty as the worst of our kind?
You're obviously dedicated. I wouldn't dream of trying to talk you around. [But there is the Ventrue flavored inclination to do just that.]

I think they're mostly just excited for new stuff. And who wouldn't be? Seattle's cool. Not as cool as LA, but, y'know, still cool.
I'll take your word on that one, man. [Said in a tone of "I Do Not In Fact Believe That At All".] Depends on how 'round the bend they go. Can't exactly blame them for wanting to light a candle and carry on the Vigil. Your lot can be- well, you're not exactly on the up-and-up, either, if I gotta be honest.
Journalistic integrity and all that. [Give or take a low Resolve score, anyway.]

I don't know anything about Seattle, admittedly. The nearest civilized territory to my own is Las Vegas. But it can't be as much of a nightmare to wrangle as Los Angeles, 'cool' as it may be.
No, we are not. And in an ideal world, I'd pound stakes into certain Kindred with my own two hands. [LaCroix might be fishing for how much she knows about killing them. Partly. Some Kindred really are that annoying.]
My mun is telling me we shouldn't 'do this' here, whatever 'this' is. I imagine it might refer to serious in depth roleplaying. But I do find you interesting, so I don't see the harm in indulging you, or your integrity.
I think you think you're doing the right thing, Miss Macauliffe. Believe me, I do.
