The past, they say, is just another country, they do things exactly the same there.
I know it is tempting. Believe me of all people I understand what the implications could be. But please do not raise your hopes for something we both know is unlikely at best.
We live in real words, real enough to us both in turn anyway. I do not regret my work or the sacrifices I have made in my life to help others. I've had friends and learned more about strength that I had ever thought possible.
I learned lessons from those I've loved and those I've lost. My life, regardless of what I had, perhaps foolishly hoped at one point, has been a good one. I am proud of the things I've done and what I've managed
to accomplish.
More over there are others who needn't be weighted down with obligation. One must learn when it is time to step back and be proud of others from afar, they will feel it if they ever truly knew you.
