On Dropping a game and just being generally "not motivated" for roleplay

Look, It's not the end of the world, yes? You got your mind on other things right now and no one's going to hate you for, you know, not playing a game.

I can't believe it's me of all people who has to tell you that it's not a big deal and that you should keep doing the other things you set of to do, like that game making thing you never shut up about.

Although at the same time you focusing on other things means you are going to focus on drawing and nothing good ever comes out of that, from my personal experience.

... I guess what I'm trying to tell you is that you need to stop drawing me in awful situations. Yeah, I guess that's that. Just stop. For the good of everyone.

Apparently, he could be almost as excitable as his mun] Those kinds of feelings can be hard to dissuade, but I really don't think there's anything she need concern herself with on that score.

Rex, I didn't say anything about dropping card games, did you even listen? [Answer: no, clearly.] My mun is the one without time for games.

And besides, no. Competition isn't "stiff". My luck has just been a little foul lately, OK? [Yeah, his luck has just been bad. For the past year or so. But it's just bad luck!]

[That was some extreme selective hearing. But then again Weevil also only heard what he wanted sometimes, so the notion that they had a lot in common was quite legitimate in that front too. Even if Weevil's selective hearing was a lot more "deliberate".]

Yeah. She plans on going back at some point but right now she's just doing random things, which is fine.

[Weevil's brows knitted as he glared at Rex as soon as he had the audacity of insulting his insects.] My bugs are not the problem here! I just need to switch some cards around, OK? [You're not wrong, it truly was. Out of the two of them, Weevil was always a little more thoughty, while Rex trusted more in instincts and raw power like his dinosaurs.]

So what was it like being in a game? [Since for one, Rex has never been in one himself] Aren't there a lot of terrible ones out there where they force you to have amnesia, or make you switch bodies with someone else? Sounds like a hassle to me. [Then after a beat he adds] They ever turn you into a girl? [Say yes, he needs a good laugh at someone else's expense]

[He knew he was playing with fire here but come on, you can't blame luck forever bug boy] Could help, if you switch like..... 40 of them. [A whole deck. It was Rex's turn to get indignant when his dinosaurs were being insulted] Dumb dinos?! Now that's taking it too far! [Getting right up into Weevil's personal space to level a glare of his own right back at him] I, uh... [Don't have a legitimate excuse for my failure] .. I haven't been feeling well lately. Yeah. That's it. You watch the very next duel my dinos are going to make my opponent go extinct!

Well, it was... fun for the most part. Kinda weird being in places where people treated me, well, nicely. [He mostly misses Genessia in that regard, because he was actually making friends there and wow, no bullies! It was quite the experience.] There was a terrible one mun threw me in, but it didn't last long. Apparently I didn't fit there or whatever. [Weevil honestly didn't really pay attention. He was just glad he was out of that place unscathed.

A small pause.] No, I was never turned into a girl. [Bad luck there Rex. Maybe next time.

Now, onto the next subject...] F-Forty?? That's not funny at all! [Well, it wasn't meant to be funny to you Weevil...] If you want to know, my mun has looked into some really nice cards and she's helping me with my deck, and I didn't need to change all of it like you are implying, hmph!

[And Weevil probably would be bothered by having his personal space invaded like that, but like it or not he was used to Rex doing that.] Oh, not feeling well? Do you have a name for that mysterious disease that's affecting your dueling?
