So I've...woken up. I think saying I napped for five years is a bit much. No one will believe it. [He certainly looks grumpy - like he has slept for too long and he is now paying for it.] Just let me be. I'll be alright on my own.

[Then, after a thought:]

Please don't bring my brother into this. Or him.

Five years! Yuki-kun... [She knew he liked his sleep, but...! Ah! It's a really long hibernation!

... Actually, hasn't it been similar for her, too? Mun-san...]

That's a lot of sleep! [An understatement.]

It's so good to see you again!

[He could be talking about Kyo or Shigure. Who knows!]

Honda-kun... [This is embarrassing and he looks away awkwardly.] Y-Yes. Yes it is.

It's...good to see you too. [More than good. Wonderful. He peeks back at her with a small smile.] Are you doing okay?

Don't you worry about me! I've been quiet lately since Mun-san has been really busy. I don't want to bother or disturb her or anything...

[It could be rude...! Troubling someone is out of the question.]

But the moment I saw you I just couldn't stay quiet. [Friendship is important, and her excitement is clear as day.]

Sleeping for such a long time, it's almost like a fairytale, isn't it? [Like Sleeping Beauty, or Snow White!]

You could never disturb someone. Do they say otherwise? [Does he need to teach them some manners? Tohru is amazing and you should be honored to have her company. >8( ]

I'm grateful for that. [He reaches out to tug on a strand of her hair.] I wanted to see you.

And... [Yuki doesn't need any further princess references, does he.] I think it's just boring.

Oh no, not at all! She went back to school so she's been studying recently! I'm not very good at helping with the type of stuff she's been doing. Oh-! But I'm sure you would be great at it! Whenever I've needed help, you were always able to explain things so well, even I was able to improve.

[He's very smart and patient. She really admires that about him.

Although-- it's then that her cheeks color lightly, aware of his hand as it gently reaches out and fingers her hair.]

O-Oh, I-- I'm happy too. [And she is. Genuinely.] Both you, and Kyou-kun, Shigure-san, Hana-chan and Uo-chan too, it would be great to see everyone again.

[Momiji-kun and the rest, as well, of course. Wouldn't it be fun to have a cookout? Or something to bring everyone together? She'll have to think. Her smile is a touch sheepish after a moment, though.]

Either way, I'm glad you're awake now. [The prince woke himself up!] Everything is much more exciting when you're around, Yuki-kun.

You're very smart; I think you should give yourself more credit. [He admires her. Immensely. And he loves her, of course, and she is definitely cuter when she blushes.]

I hope you do see everyone. So far I've run into Hatori and Haru. [Now it's his turn to blush and he smiles to himself, suddenly shy.]

I could say the same for you, Miss Honda.

[She's a touch flustered. He always manages to flatter her and say the nicest things. Really, it's no wonder everyone considers him to be like a prince. He manages to shine while encouraging everyone else around him.]

Oh no-- [Lifting her hands up she twiddles her fingers.] You're too kind. But thank you so much for thinking so!

[More important than her, though-]

How were Hatori-san and Hatsuharu-san? They must have been so happy to see you! Especially Hatsuharu-san, you two are really close! [To her, she's always found it especially heartwarming how charmed Hatsuharu is around him! With Kyou too, though their relationships are quite different...]

Yuki. [ The name alone is Hatori's form of greeting, which could read coldly, but there's that underlying concern as he studies his younger cousin. ]

You should eat something, get your metabolism working properly after all that time.

Hatori. [He can give as good as he gets and he tries not to look frustrated.]

What would you suggest? Shigure says I make bad choices when it comes to food.

Just a light snack would be best, to help the groggy feeling. Some fruit. And drink plenty of water.

[ He can't help the doctor in him from coming out, especially towards Yuki.
...And there's a beat, Hatori observing him quietly for a moment before his voice softens just a tad. ]

I hope it isn't too stressful on you, coming back around here.

Fine by me. I don't mind fruit or water.

[But he likes cheese better. Shut up with the rat references.

Yuki watches him, trying to give Hatori a more fair chance. Regrets; he has a few of them.]

I can see...friends...and family. That isn't so bad.

That's been my way of thinking, as well. Here I can keep an eye on some of you.

[ He wasn't particularly fond of the mun's decision to bring him around this place after all this time, but. There's some silver lining, at least? Hatori does worry a lot about the others. ]

At least your brother hasn't come barging in. That's something to be grateful for.

[ There's a hint of amusement there; he's letting some of that tension out and easing into a normal human being. ...As much of a normal human being as Hatori can be, anyway. ]

Do I need to be looked after? I am grown now.

[Yuki hasn't found his place yet, sorry for the teen angst. He reminds himself that Hatori is likely being kind and his posture relaxes.]

You're right. Things are much quieter without him and they make more sense.

[Ayame loves him he knows and he regrets his words slightly.]

I will visit him soon enough as it is.

[ Hatori doesn't answer for a moment, just takes a long drag of the cigarette he's nursing. That's a question that stings, simply because of the association it has for him. ]

That's true. You are grown now.

[ Oh yes, the dragon has his own regrets and guilts. He'll always see the child version of Yuki in his mind, and always feel the weight of what was allowed to happen to that little boy growing up. ]

Any idea what's planned for you now that you've woken back up?
