(How can her anger last around Usagi? She visibly calms and lowers her head to nudge the girl's shoulder.)

You're incredible, I mean, even if you are just what you're meant to be, what you're meant to be is ya know, incredible.

That's pretty hard for some, that's impressive enough.

There is so much for humans to hide. They feel shame and regret. I never felt those emotions until I was a woman.

Mnn... humans... do things they're not always proud of, whether by force or by choice. They don't want others to know about it or they wish they never did it in the first place.

[Honestly, the thought of being shoved into a human body is one of those things that'd keep Sunburst awake at night. Humans are fine and all, but they're not unicorns. Well, is there any way to reverse the spell? Most magic has a get-out clause in there somewhere.

(She has lived her nightmare and doesn't want to return. But what can she do except raise her voice against it? Shaking her moon bright head, she paces uncomfortably.)

Oh gosh, I'm sorry, that sounds awfully cruel. Still, if you did end up in a game in that state, I'm sure somepony would be able to help you. There's always that hope, right?

Yes indeed! There are plenty in these games, I've noticed. [He smiles. ] Well, at least the country I come from. Full of all kinds of ponies, lots of unicorns, too.

Exactly! And hope is a strong thing, right?

Oh, unicorns are all kinds of colours where I come from. Purple, white, blue green- you name it, there's probably a unicorn with that coat colour.

I know it's not much of a consolation, but I know what it's like to be out of place in your own story or in a situation not to your choosing.

I do hope you reach a happy ending.

What can be done about your situation? (She understands, more or less, the hurdles of her own ordeal. Being a woman is complicated and it has changed her for the rest of time.)

I do not expect one.

Not much I'm afraid. No matter how many times I've tried to challenge the script,I've found no satisfactory answers among the labyrinth of choices that are always before me. [Monika is putting on a brave face but her eyes are sad.]

To be honest, I'm not sure sure I do either. But I have found when I worked together with my friends, even if the situation remained bleak at least it was bearable.

(The Unicorn looks confused, stepping towards Monica with a fair amount of caution.)

Script...? That is...writing, is it not? How can a life be written beforehand? Unless you refer to prophecy...

I am beginning to wonder if all worlds have one. I do know that mine is perfectly fabricated. For some reason, I'm the only one who sees it. It's frightening. But I can't let anyone see that I'm afraid.

I don't think it's a prophecy. It's a computer program. At first I thought it was all meaningless scribbles, but it's a code. A language.

My body is imperfect; that I should wobble about on two legs as a mere human, that I have no proud horn, that my eyes are clear but blinded. I can. I hear many hearts. Yours is afraid of finding human form again. I understand -- it is...difficult, being human.

I was never meant to be human. Now that I have been, I am burdened by their emotions. I am not like the others.
