I don't mind the lack of games. Your efforts to give my story a happier ending than what transpired originally is... well-intentioned, if perhaps not perfectly executed. I do appreciate that I have a chance to do more this way, for more people. That's more than I had resigned myself to having back in Afghanistan.

Still, rebuilding my life is going to take me some time, time which you can spend doing some reading. I know your knowledge of Islam is limited and your linguistics could use a refresher, but I think we can do this. At the very least, I want to give this a shot. We'll take a page from Stark's playbook and play this by ear. Perhaps there's some wisdom in living life that way, with appreciation for spontaneity and being present in the moment.
