On mundane re-watching ST: DS9
You finally got around to re-watching Deep Space Nine? It took you long enough, did it not? Not that it bothers me at all. I have much important things to be doing with my life than to be concerned with your....flights of fancy. Your idleness needs to be put into something more useful.
Combat skills, perhaps? You definitely need to train more. I wish you wouldn't keep talking about myself and.....Lieutenant Dax. It's all rather...irritating. Not to mention my past relationship with Counsellor Troi.
Ungh. Humans.

[ Hands folded neatly behind his back, Spock approaches, and inclines his head slightly in greeting. ]
hey there Vulcan friend \\o//
[Now, he's eyeing you up, Spock. Sorry, but this guy isn't used to serving with that many Vulcans, especially those as high calibre as you, sir.]
Mating rituals of humans are....odd. It is all pointless about how they seem to find amusement in prying into our lives. My life in particular. It is....dishonourable.
[Yep.]
Your uniform is different to the one I wear. Are you from another ship?

And are you really blaming someone for being distracted by Jadzia? Or your relationship with her, for that matter? I imagine it's hard not to get stuck on that a bit, with how often you two end up in my sickbay for bedroom-related injuries.
[Speaking of combat skills... Seriously, Worf, one does wonder. And then usually drowns their wondering in alcohol.]

[He's not impressed, dude. Not at all.]
I am not blaming anyone in particular for my relationship with Jadzia. It is just that my mundane seems to find.....interest in her also.
[Sorry, Worf, but your mundane is a guy and fancies Jadzia too. Oops.]
Are you referring to our....combat wounds? Jadzia is rather stronger than most women I've met. She can take more punishment than most and equally dish it out.
[That pulls a smile from him.]

But that's exactly my point: Jadzia does tend to command and enjoy others' interest in her, so it really shouldn't come as a surprise to you that she might become a bit of a preoccupation for anyone. [Because, well, been there, done that. Or, rather, didn't do. But, honestly, with the level of friendship he has with Lieutenant Dax, he doesn't regret a thing.]
[Julian flaps his hand in a hurriedly dismissive manner.] Alright, alright! [Dear god why did he even begin this conversation. THINGS HE DOESN'T NEED TO KNOW, WORF, REALLY.] Yes, combat wounds, if that's what you'd like to call it. That was exactly what I was referring to. Which I won't any longer. Refer to them. At all.
[MOVING ON.] You mentioned Counselor Troi, though. She was on the Enterprise, correct? Ambassador Troi's daughter?

[Yes, Worf, you did say those exact words to the doctor that day.]
-yes, you are quite right, doctor. I haven't been feeling myself lately, due to my writer irritating me. It makes me want to kill something I feel so angry at times.
[Calm down, big guy. No smashing up the medical bay or anything now.]
Lieutenant Dax is a strong woman and I am glad that we met under such circumstances-
[He doesn't want to hear anymore, Worf. Really.]
-but enough of that. Counsellor Troi and I had a brief relationship aboard the Enterprise a few years ago. She is the daughter of Ambassador Lwaxana Troi.
