Yes, I am aware of my fate in canon, but I'm not scared. I'm a soldier, and I have always known that that meant I might die violently. If it means that the civilians on board the ship can escape unharmed, than my sacrifice will be worth it. So please, return me to my post so that I can do my job properly.

*More puzzled.* I have heard some of the Realians on the Durandal call him over emotional, but I've never heard of any incidents where he has harmed anyone under his direction.

It is their nature as variants. #666 is the link master, too full of bravado and inattentive to details. #667 is worse then he is at the emotional part. Weak willed, clingy and unstable even at the best of times. #668 is haughty and cold...she is... not so bad. #669 is the silent one.

They are incredibly powerful, each one of them can take out ten of me by themselves. They are monsters!

Although I do agree that Albedo is too unstable to be trusted with even a basic weapon, let alone the powers of a URTV.

Unfortunately, the position of leadership isn't always determined by who is in the best position to understand his subordinates, or even who has a best handle on his emotions. Just do your best, so maybe someone will recognize your efforts.

If I understand the nature of where we are correctly, the fact that our mundanes have taken us from where we belong does mean that it's possible for us to have very different futures from what would have happened otherwise.

I'm a combat Realian. We aren't supposed to feel fear, either, but I have a hard time imagining a being with the ability to make decisions based on his own assessment of a situation that doesn't also have some form of emotions.

There are times when displaying your emotions is inappropriate for a soldier, yes, but I am beginning to believe that your overseers didn't properly understand that emotions in and of themselves aren't detrimental. In fact, a truly heartless soldier may be as dangerous to his comrades as to his allies.

Feeling emotions and obeying orders are not mutually exclusive. Nor do you have to agree completely with your superiors to obey orders and be an effective soldier.

I don't think so. Someone can be a brilliant strategist even if they're personally not very likable. Resentment should not be allowed to cloud your ability to accept orders, but living beings shouldn't accept being treated like nothings because they happen to be meant for combat, either.

But I try to be good, #666 is the leader but he never studies and it's always slapdash unless he's forced to follow a plan.
