Look, I know why you really brought me here, after all this time. But I don’t think anything’s going to come out of this. It’s been what, nearly a decade? They couldn’t be hanging around here still.

I miss them, of course. And writing that book’s probably the best you can do for all of us. At least, in some form, we can be remembered. You have to change some names, though. I don’t think Marcus’ mun would mind you keeping his name, but the others’ names are from the game (like Arzei).

Um, my mun’s trying to write some original story and decided that since I’ve been so noisy these past years, she’d make some version of me to send there. But that version’s more like Heirverse me. I dunno, maybe she’s still holding on to our story...

Well, our mun is quite talented at falling off and disappearing from the face of the Internet. I couldn’t help but worry that I’d never see you again.

Hmmm. I’m not quite too sure about that. I personally would like to get on with where we left off, honestly. But I suppose it’s her way of, well, preserving the old stories... Heirverse at least, since she came up with a good deal of it. And she could swap out the fandom stuff with kingdoms and queendoms of her own. Our universe though... she says it’s too precious to tamper with.

Mine too. She actually keeps going back to the Galliano thread, even if they never really finished it. And, um, she wrote us a bunch of fics? [ sheepish grin, blushing ]

Galliano is a time and place worth revisiting, I'm always up for it. But any of our old adventures would be worth another round.

This is what I ended up getting. Not really matchy, but it's rather fitting, you know? I have a twin, I'm queen of two worlds, mother of two kids, wife of... well, you get the drift.

You can blame mine for the influx. She already has Marc's up, and Fia and Khrista and Aunt Maria.

Sometimes they go a few years without writing us, sometimes a decade. It doesn't matter. They always seem to swing back around to pick us up again, regardless of if we want them to or not.

All too true. Now that my mun's found her friends again, she's slipping back into old habits. Like the version of me that inspired, well, me? She's back. As well as everyone else from her universe.
