[Honestly, her logic is infallible. Yes, of course a hero should reassure the public that there's nothing to worry about, and that the hero has utmost confidence in their ability to protect whoever they're reassuring. Bakugou, however, has not quite nailed down his people skills or how to deal with the public whatsoever. It's not something that's really crossed his mind too much. Being the best is what is most important, surpassing his own expectations for himself and getting stronger so he can be the best hero he can possibly be.

But now, a flicker of doubt at the fact that she's right...that to be the best hero he can possibly be, he's going to have to be able to reassure people. Right now, in UA, it doesn't seem as important, but the looming and inevitable reality that he sucks with people flashes through his mind briefly, and rather than dwelling on it he just scowls.]

Well, yeah. Sure. But if you save them anyway then it doesn't really matter what you say, right? Words don't mean shit if you can't back them up with actions, anyway.
