After all, Megumi has only set two rules down for herself - don't walk into any obvious set-ups that will turn her into a Shiki, and don't turn against Kaori...she had encountered a Kaori from her canon timeline after everything had been said and done, and is still haunted by the occasion. She doesn't want that to happen to her infuriatingly rustic yet irresistibly sweet childhood friend again.]

I like the way you think. I enjoy my work as much as I’m able- though occasionally it does become a lot of errand-running. Still, I’m allowed to get my hands dirty, and that’s just fine for me.

A lot of the time, yes. Then again, it's a testament to my abilities that I'm allowed out in the sun to actually do those things- it only shows that I'm really more capable than most of my kind.

I suppose it depends on what your work entails. When it comes to things like spying and grave-robbing, I think it's not that bad. My work isn't very conventional, to most.

Spying I can enjoy, but I can't say as I've ever been much of a grave robber. It was considered a grave sin during my time - but I'm sure such things are trivial to you, no?
