..in retrospect, considering all the shit you put me through in the City and elsewhere, this journal name change isn't that bad.

Now, a couple requests that I'm sure you'll listen to with the utmost respect for me. [Wow, sarcasm!]

One: is it possible for Ed and I to be happy for two minutes without some idiotic curse or one of us dying or whatever? Just two minutes. I'm beginning to think you're why I can't have nice things.

Two: Don't get upset that you can't get ahold of the mun behind my dad. It's not a worry. It means you can't enable them to the City and therefor I won't have to freak out over my dead father suddenly right there.

Thank you for your time. Also, again, thank you for changing my journal name. I didn't much care for one that comes from what Rainbird used to call me in his twisted head.

As of recently. Yeah. Apparently things started developing between Ed and I during the desert. And that curse with the music? That's about when he and I finally got together. Apparently his mun and mine have been plotting this for a while.

And, yeah. He died when I was younger.

I'm sorry to hear that. That must have been...no, I really can't imagine losing a parent and how hard that would be.

It is. And sometimes muns contribute curse suggestions that happen. So, it's...creative in general.

It's just upsettomg because during tomorrow's curse or event or whatever, I lose someone important. Not for good, but still.

A hotel called Overlook. Me and my wife and son are living there to take care of it while it's closed for the winter.

That's a long time to be stuck in a hotel. It's just you three?

Yep, just us three.

It's not so bad, there's always plenty to do. Got the run of the place, great hedge maze out front, it's real beautiful. Keeping the road to it cleared of snow is not all that economical, though, so they shut it down.

Sounds a bit like an adventure, honestly.

Yeah! I hope that's what Danny thinks of it, getting the whole place to ride his little bicycle wherever he wants, the kitchens, all of it. He's a young kid, I'm sure he's been exploring.
