astounding: (I also think I have Monthly Mange.)
Remus Lupin ([personal profile] astounding) wrote in [community profile] dear_mun2012-03-24 07:27 pm

mun finally watched the last two. there are no gifs/feels/creys/tumblrlingo for it

Took you long enough.

It's overdue at the library as of yesterday. You can't renew it, so don't even try. There's no reason to watch it repeatedly. Just put it in the drop box on Monday and leave it there.

You didn't cry during it, there's no reason to start now. You could read them again if you wanted, you know.

But you have those library books to finish first, so you should get on them first.

[BUT BUT]

Read faster. You can do it, if only you endeavor to.

[Sherlock yawns.]

I don't know why she's upset by the movies. They were a complete injustice to the books.

[Sherlock? Be kind? Not really, sorry. Sherlock will also not admit to the tear he shed over Dobby's stupidity death.]

[He rolls his eyes and speaks the one word as if it's a dirty one.]

Sentiment. [He pauses.] It is unfortunate for you, sentiment is a quality found in the loosing side.

[Sherlock's mun mumbles something to him about just because he's having a hard time of things right now, doesn't mean he should take it out on others.]

[Sherlock raises an eyebrow.]

I was referring that it is unfortunate for you to have such a sentimental mun.
highfunctioning_sociopath: The Great Game (experiment)

It wasn't a bad series... as children's stories go, though I can't abide how the movies didn't include the most important parts. Since they took out all the information about the House Elves earlier, I don't know how they expected the audience to believe Harry was so moved to have his life saved by one.

[Sherlock might have cracked the faintest smile as Lupin spelled out the name of the society. He always secretly called it "Spew," simply to annoy Hermione. Well, also because the sentiment of it made him want to spew at first. He got over it.]

Well, you can never do better than a book. Even audiobooks or reading them online usually twenty times better than any movie of the book you will see.
highfunctioning_sociopath: Scandal in Belgravia (irene staredown)

[Which would matter if he cared, which, let's be honest, he doesn't.]

Thought you'd be more impressive in person. Or at the very least challenging.

[Cue bored Sherlock - this is why he says "Don't make people into heroes."]
highfunctioning_sociopath: The Great Game (scientist)

[personal profile] highfunctioning_sociopath 2012-03-25 02:47 am (UTC)(link)
[Sherlock would point out such a move is impossible for the first move a black knight makes.]

Well, you're half right.

[Everything is obvious to Sherlock, how is he to know what others do and do not see as 'obvious'?]

You may in fact be dull... But then, that does tend to come with death.

[And that was said with all the casualness of a scientist talking about photosynthesis.]
highfunctioning_sociopath: Scandal in Belgravia (amused)

[personal profile] highfunctioning_sociopath 2012-03-25 03:02 am (UTC)(link)
[Sherlock is amused now, more so with Lupin.]

Dementors... Now, there is a fascinating creation. My mun would agree with the chocolate bit - only taking it another step: Chocolate makes everything better... especially dark chocolate.
highfunctioning_sociopath: The Great Game (microscope)

[personal profile] highfunctioning_sociopath 2012-03-25 03:12 am (UTC)(link)
[And Sherlock's bored now. Especially since Dark Chocolate not only releases more endorphins, but has anti-oxidants as well as other health attributes.]

Oh, dark chocolate is better for you... unless that papers are painted with mercury.

[personal profile] highfunctioning_sociopath 2012-03-25 03:29 am (UTC)(link)
Say for a moment I believe in werewolves. Are you trying to tell me you're allergic to it. Or simply that you don't like it. If it is the first, then you would be correct that it's not better for you. If it is the second, well, you could learn to like it.

[Sherlock has an answer for everything.]
highfunctioning_sociopath: A Study in Pink (side eye)

[personal profile] highfunctioning_sociopath 2012-03-25 03:36 am (UTC)(link)
No. It means I can accept you believe you are a werewolf. I am quite undecided on the matter.

It's all physics and chemistry, in the end...
highfunctioning_sociopath: Scandal in Belgravia (hat)

[personal profile] highfunctioning_sociopath 2012-03-25 03:50 am (UTC)(link)
Physics can explain things appearing and disappearing all the time, I don't need to touch the items to understand the reality.
highfunctioning_sociopath: Lying Detective (beaten)

[personal profile] highfunctioning_sociopath 2012-03-25 12:51 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes. If there's an opposing force that moves my body. Like a car crash.

[Sherlock is ever the scientist.]
highfunctioning_sociopath: A Study in Pink (side eye)

Sure :)

[personal profile] highfunctioning_sociopath 2012-03-25 04:45 pm (UTC)(link)
The opposing force doesn't matter. It is still simply physics.
highfunctioning_sociopath: The Reichenbach Fall (on floor)

[personal profile] highfunctioning_sociopath 2012-03-25 04:56 pm (UTC)(link)
[Sherlock ends up on the floor from lack of control.]

Or chemistry... But how is that any different from administering a muscle relaxant?

[Ever the Scientist, sorry.]
highfunctioning_sociopath: A Study in Pink (the look)

[personal profile] highfunctioning_sociopath 2012-03-25 05:04 pm (UTC)(link)
Can the wind knock you over without swallowing or ingesting it? As I said, it's simple physics.

[Sherlock slowly gets to his feet as the affects wear off.]

Many things that have a scientific explanation today were considered "Magic" in the past.
highfunctioning_sociopath: Hounds of Baskerville (panic)

[personal profile] highfunctioning_sociopath 2012-03-25 05:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Depending on the circumstances, even then I might not be convinced...

[He's thinking back on his experiences with the Hounds of Baskerville.]
