It's mostly been an irritating amount of self reflection broken up by occasional bouts of fighting with monsters.

Well... Do you get to spend time with people you like? Eat food you like? Spend time doing things you like? Stuff like that.

Sometimes, yes and yes. But that's more by my choice then by the place I am. After all I have to keep myself entertained.

Because the nature of the magic and monsters has a nasty habit of forcing me to look inward. To see the kind of person I've been and make me think about who I want to be. It's exhausting at times.

there have been clockwork drones, a storm dragon, small bugs, a massive mechanical hulk, a monstrous winter spirit known as Santa claus, but mostly we refer to them as Nightmares and Witches.

Man, I think I'd always be tired if I had to do all that. You're really busy.

And most of the fighting happens at night so that adds to the fatigue.

[She smirks and with flourish transforms into her uniform, flashes of fire and lightning which give way to her large proud dragon wings, whippy tail, mane of black hair and sharp clawed gauntlets.]

I do enjoy showing off how amazing I am.

[Shin just stares at her, eyes wide, flush taking over his face. His gaze keep wandering over her unsure where to stay.]

[Finally his sight settles on her lower body.]

It's a little too short to be practical, but I've gotten used to it.
