Really? Fascinating! They really can do wonders with those sorts of things these days, can't they? [Vanitas is probably invading his space a little now to look closer. He's used to robotics since they've gotten popular in his world, but nothing like this.

Doesn't it upset you...? [It upset many who found out. It disturbed others, even though they tried to pretend it didn't. You could always tell by how they broke their gaze from you.

Karu didn't budge an inch from where he stood when Vanitas got closer, though he wasn't used to someone being this interested in him.]

Hm? No, should it? [He blinks, tilting his head. There are much more disturbing and upsetting things where Vanitas comes from (and he's been marked by one of them), so Karu hardly even registers as "weird" on his personal scale of things.]

To be in the presence of something that shouldn't be alive but still moves and speaks...

[That should upset just about any kind of human. Specially since they had the knowledge to do and create horrific monstrosities.]

And? There are plenty of things that shouldn't be alive and yet insist on being so regardless! [It's... Hard to tell if he's meaning that as a joke or insult.]
