So you have remembered me? Was it the story of how I set my bed curtains on fire that did it? That was only once, mind you, and I did tell the truth not that it wasn't incredibly obvious already.

I become a Wizard of some renown, you say? What am I known for? I've begun to wonder what I will do after Hogwarts. After the revolution, of course. Gellert and I are going to do magnificent things.

Your mummy yells at you? Mine doesn't let me wear lilac so I do understand what you go through. We must be strong!

Why, yes! I look incredible in lilac. To be fair, I look awfully good in every color of the rainbow but lilac is my personal favorite.

This green mummy always makes me wear isn't working for me... or my drab school robes. At least those have blue in them to match my eyes, I suppose! [Gilderoy is... always like this. He's also in Ravenclaw.]

I have a personal preference for deep purple, but I have been told my clothing choices are not...conventional. I think perhaps the Hogwarts robes are a relief to many. I do like the scarlet and gold of Gryffindor.

[No, seriously, they could talk about this and be fine.]

Purple is marvelous! [Gilderoy looks fairly normal now, other than the coifed hair, but as soon as he leaves school it'll be head-to-toe gold and pink and lilac capes all the way.]

I don't care for the Hogwarts robes... they're unflattering. Once I leave, which is next year, I will never ever wear loose robes again.

I'd like a haircut as well. I'm getting too grown-up for ringlets. [Why is he bothering poor Albus with this? Oh right, it's because he has no friends other than the handful of first and second year Hufflepuff girls who fancy him.]

I am fond of darker colors in general. [Jewel tones, truly, yet he pairs them with brighter shades on occasion. Oh Gilderoy. You so fab.]

Robes are not meant to cling. [And black is...utilitarian. It looks nice when they are gathered together.] You might like the Durmstrang uniform more, however the colors are muted to crimsons, sables and blacks.

[He chuckles, but it isn't unkind.] I rather like your ringlets.

[Gilderoy has never met a pastel he didn't love. And anything sparkly, of course! He is bringing fabulous back to the wizarding world.]

I'm more fond of pastels but, [He whispers.] I'd very much like to wear tight pants, like the Muggles wear. [He'll just go ahead and say it. Daring! In the future, Gilderoy is really going to commit to the 'if you've got it, flaunt it' thing.]

Why thank you! They're natural. [With a little help from his rollers, which are also lilac.]

How tight? [Do tell.] I am considering growing my hair long when I am older.

...frightfully tight. [This isn't a 'oh, that dear innocent boy thinks somewhat tight trousers are tight'. By the times he's a proper grown man you'll see, Dumbledore. No one is ready for those dueling trousers.]

I do believe, if I were to grow my hair any longer, I'd be mistaken for a witch!
