Voice Testing; Considering SoulGemmed
Oh, aye, I see how it is. Ya wake me up and think you'll have a piece of fun with the priest. Have me sign a contract with some forsaken devil that gets its kicks by tempting children.
Do you think I'd say no to the chance to kill a fiend like that? In their greed they will exploit you with false words; their judgment from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.
Doesn't matter if it's undying. Doesn't matter if the chance of the kill could be measure on the head of a needle. I'll kill it all the same.

That does sound truly a worthwhile gamble to make, for the chance to eliminate such a terrible demon.
[or, if you're kirei, take notes on philosophy from it.]

[For Anderson, 'not being human' was a no-no. Harming or taking advantage of a child, that was a double no-no.]

How unthinkably terrible. But do ask yourself if the risk is truly worth the bloodshed--selling your own soul in contract just for a chance at dispensing the Lord's justice? What happens after the monster's slain--you'll still have to live knowing the true price you've paid even if that collateral should be returned to you.

Dispensed it once already.
[In the hopes he could save the remainder of those he had raised to protect the Catholic faith. In the hopes that he could put a stop to another monster but, in the end, he'd merely be overpowered. Had been both too weak of a man and too weak of a monster.]
Could be I'm just still walking the road towards perdition, but it's the road I was walking before. So long as I bring a few deserving of the depths with me, I'm still serving.

[There's all sorts of arguments to be made about the type of existence everyone here leads, none of them likely to be fun.]
Wait, no, my bad. That's the OTHER crazy blond guy with a hate-on for an undying immortal in a red coat. I pride myself on originality if nothing else! We could call you Father Thorns, how 'bout that? Or is that a little too soon, people take spoilers VERY seriously here!

Either way eldritch terrors don't get to talk for too long far as he's concerned . It isn't long before there is just a trail of bayonets heading your way Bill, cause no way in hell should you even exist.]

[He's just gonna. Break apart into his composite bricks for a second and reform in a patch of air somewhere less stabby.]
Re-LAX, Padre! That's being awful trigger-happy for someone who wants an actual shot at killing whats-his-name. Take it from a kindred-if-much-cooler spirit, killing someone like that's gonna take a modicum of subtlety.

My order follows in the steps of our namesake. We taint our souls that those that'd bring ruin to others taste the flames waiting for them.

Meaning your god has some flexibility for drastic alignment shifts when it serves their purpose... Can't say they don't have a pragmatic mindset. [That's not common for orders devoted to gods that seem so clearly and painfully 'lawful'. Not that it does anything to improve his opinion.]
That's a refreshing outlook, you know. You're still casting holy judgment on monsters and monstrous humanoids who may have deserved it, but hey, at least your organization owns up to being assholes.

Your enthusiasm for battle has given you profound clarity over the choice presented before you. Sign the contract and you will receive proximity to this foul devil or don't, and turn your back to forever reminisce on a struggle that could have been and of a monster left alive to pervert creation thanks to cowardly inaction.
[For men like the Major and Anderson, there is only one choice that they can make. If there is a war to be waged, then they will fight it whether it is for its own sake or whether it is for the sake of God. Either way, battle will be waged and the meaning behind it will become quickly irrelevant the longer it drags on.]
I salute you, brave crusader! Nothing shall stop the flight of your bayonet, not even the skulls of the children so horrifically compelled to stand in the way of the monster's vitals.
[Either way, people will die. And despite saying as much, Anderson won't stray from this path. The Major knows that and grins at the tragedies bound to unfold in Anderson's holy war.]

Have a tiny, adorable, flesh-eating monstrosity
Oh god She hadn't been there before, had she? She was here now though. A 4 foot nothing floating girl with glowing eyes, green hair, and the world's cutest hat. There was a blue sphere floating next to her, attached to her ankles by two fleshy cords that looped loosely around her body.
"My name is Koishi Komeiji! You talk funny Mister! I like you."

I've found that muns usually don't care about our objections to being put, well, just about anywhere.
Perhaps the best we can hope for is just trying to trap the damn thing in a box for all eternity.

[Wishing luck is all Michael can do. Striking down creatures like that is kind of his job, but... In this case, since he's not going to any game, this is all he can offer.]
