...Well, actually it's not the lineage so much as it is the probability of it all. People are saying my conception makes no logical sense.

I should think that if my father could find means to divide his soul, then he could find means to divide his...well, let's just say it's another "s" word. And besides, our's is a world of witchcraft and wizardry...there's only so much trying to apply logic will accomplish!

Modern Muggles can create life without such an act. I am sure that wizards can find many ways to also do so without the need for a touch between lovers.

Because I don't have anything else that I want to do. There is nothing else in my life worth investing in, and no foreseeable future in which I could prosper beyond that of one where my father rules all, with my by his side.

And besides, I like the idea that my life is dedicated to a cause that goes far beyond just me.
