They mean well, but they are like monsters compared to normal people so it can be scary training with them sometimes.

Yeah I still live in Seoul. I don't know if I will leave anytime soon. Even when I do graduate High School.

I can understand that… When I was young, I thought I’d never leave my hometown either. [He grins.] And then my dad kicked me out to attend school in another part of the country, and traveling became a more likely idea.

Well we'll see I guess. The problem is that right now I have to protect my friends and family. Maybe eventually I will be powerful enough that I can protect them from far away or the Chubumoon will be able to protect them enough, but right now it's hard to just keep up with whatever comes at me.

They are an old clan that looks after their part of Seoul. They are one of two clans that divide up Seoul.

They are the only source of law when it comes to individuals too powerful than the police can handle and the police don't know about them anyway.

No not exactly. I joined them recently so they will help protect my family.

The problem is they can't keep up even as big as they are. They will get a handle on those with abilities that are causing trouble, but soon more will crop up.

So even with their help I am sure I have to keep getting stronger.

So there’s really that many people causing problems then, huh?

Yes I'm not sure what contributes to it exactly other than the fact there are a lot of opportunistic people in the world and some of them will inevitably have some sort of ability. Whether they learn it or are given the ability.

[He pauses before switching to a more positive topic.]

Speaking of that what is the case with you anyway? Among other things my ability lets me see you're pretty tough, but was it some sort of crazy training or did you have some sort of ability from the start that got better with training?

I see your name. Dino Cavallone. Your title "Chiavarone Decimo" and your level. Your level is sort of a number quantifying how capable you are overall.

If I use my "Observe" skill I could see more than that, but I figure it's kind of rude to do in this place where there is no danger.

Anyway, for me, I always had potential but it wasn’t worth anything until I got an excellent tutor to bully me into being better.

Yeah though that isn't where my ability stops. Wouldn't exactly be able to protect myself if that's all I could do.

What is it that you can do exactly? Is there any sort of books on how to do it? If there is I would like you to give me one if that's okay. I can trade you whatever price you want in Won or magic items if you want something interesting.

Well, a lot of the training was to improve my stamina and endurance for it first… You don’t really need a book for that. Past that, no- I don’t think it’s something written or told outside a lot of groups that discover how to do it. Oral tradition, mentors, that kind of thing. It’s supposed to be a bit of a secret.
