How do I feel about spirits? Is that what you asked?

[Some serious, intent consideration.]

Do you mean ghosts? I haven't given them much thought.

They must be less lonely than I am. ...not that I mind when he visits. It's the other one - the loud one - that is unwelcome.

...... By "the loud one" you had better mean Poseidon.
godtellsnolies: (Seriously?)

[personal profile] godtellsnolies 2016-06-07 02:58 am (UTC)(link)
Wha-

Excuse me, weren't you the one who said "I wouldn't mind keeping you company"? So apparently I'm not so loud as to be unbearable for you! You should count your blessings.
godtellsnolies: (Unimpressed)

[personal profile] godtellsnolies 2016-06-07 03:02 am (UTC)(link)
You're just moody. [Like Apollo has any room to talk.]
godtellsnolies: (Heh~)

[personal profile] godtellsnolies 2016-06-07 03:06 am (UTC)(link)
Isn't that how humans portray the gods though? We're moody and fickle and always fawning over humans, et cetera?

[personal profile] godtellsnolies 2016-06-07 03:09 am (UTC)(link)
Hm? Would you like me to? [A smirk.]
godtellsnolies: (ICK!)

[personal profile] godtellsnolies 2016-06-07 03:12 am (UTC)(link)
Then why did you bring it up in the first place?!
godtellsnolies: (Boring)

[personal profile] godtellsnolies 2016-06-07 03:16 am (UTC)(link)
Well you sure pointed it out with an air of disappointment.
godtellsnolies: (You should be thankful!)

[personal profile] godtellsnolies 2016-06-07 03:23 am (UTC)(link)
Oh? So is that it then, if I had been more like some false god from your little ideologies you would have been thankful for me whisking you away? That doesn't seem like a very stable or happy fate for you considering how humans thought most of us did nothing but steal and seduce them, so wouldn't you be afraid of being tossed aside or killed?
godtellsnolies: (.......)

[personal profile] godtellsnolies 2016-06-07 03:30 am (UTC)(link)
I sure you wouldn't feel the same if you were in that situation. [Iris told him some pretty extravagant myths that had been cooked up. Something about cows and people being turned into trees...]
godtellsnolies: (Your fun ends here)

[personal profile] godtellsnolies 2016-06-07 03:37 am (UTC)(link)
Because I can say it, therefore I know.

[He huffs and crosses his arms. Honestly, you would think after a millennia or two Ganymede would have grasped that by now.]

And besides, you've been given your way out, remember? So you can't blame me any longer; I can't make you go mad.
godtellsnolies: (Why am I the sun?)

[personal profile] godtellsnolies 2016-06-07 03:44 am (UTC)(link)
...

[Apollo actually doesn't retort to that because. Well. All of his philosophical debates with Hades, confusing as they are, have made him more and more curious about the point of his own identity and existence. It's not something he wants to get into with Ganymede.]

I'm surprised you would ask that, considering how you still reject the idea of me as Apollo. [Might be side-stepping the question a bit.]

[personal profile] godtellsnolies 2016-06-07 04:01 am (UTC)(link)
So would have liked me to hear your prayers or not?

[But whether Ganymede likes it or not he did hear them. After all, he didn't just choose the boy on a complete whim.]
godtellsnolies: (Lonely)

[personal profile] godtellsnolies 2016-06-07 11:18 am (UTC)(link)
Let me put it like this... If you stand in the midst of a crowd where everyone is talking- so much to the point that you can't even hear your own thoughts- would you still try to make out every word that every individual says?
godtellsnolies: (Default)

[personal profile] godtellsnolies 2016-06-09 10:33 am (UTC)(link)
Heh. I can guarantee that you would stop trying to hear everyone after about one hundred years or so.

[Ganymede's temper is about like his after all, so he can take a decent guess about how that situation would go.]

[ he is, as is in his nature, nondescript. a roll of dark shadows and an easy sigh if a bit bemused.

for now, save a brief twinge that could be a smirk, he stays silent.
