I'll tell you what, being remade? Not as bad as that electric fence.
Being remade, I knew there was an end to it, I could feel that. Electricity always just feels like it's going to go on for ever, start to feel it behind your eye sockets, in your teeth.
Yeah, it does. But having your wing get fucked by something like that is way beyond humiliating. There's something wrong with... What was it they said, a "bird of prey," I guess... Something wrong with one not being able to fly.
But the bone realignment, uncool. [ Makes him think of falling from Heaven. Not good memories. ] Did you, like, even feel anything in your wings after they became metal?
Yeah, they aren't totally metal, well, the lower set is, and they are in the case of 'metal' meaning the same thing as 'fucking awesome' but the upper ones still have the bones and muscle, the metal part is just ... [he stretches one over his shoulder to look at it himself.] The feathers are the only thing that's totally metal, but I can still control them? Kind of?
I don't even pretend to know how it works, it's reflex.
No, because her list of requirements is... pretty much impossible. Can't be a sex game, can't have any real sort of activity check requirements, can't have a long involved application process, has to actually let me in without any sort of comics knowledge and with what little was seen on screen.
Oh, right, comic-based universes are always a clusterfuck... And god forbid you app in from the movies, I suppose. People get really serious about that, for some reason. I don't personally get it. As far as I'm concerned, you should be able to say "Apping movie-verse" and that should be enough.
But then again, you did get... What, three lines in the whole movie?
If it makes either of you feel any better, my player's comfortably certain he saw you in the Danger Room at the end. [The man in the golden armor and red cape bows.] I'm Divis Mal. My player thinks I may have been based on your man Lehnsherr, and that, in my own universe, Magneto may have been based on me in return. It's that sort of canon really.
Yeah, that's what she figures, the new wings were strong enough that I didn't get crushed and probably got myself out eventually. Played possum until the fight was over, vanished into the night like Psylocke did.
Ja, it can be difficult on your own, that's why it's so great that to be with others that understand. We get to practice with our powers, too, which is both fun and scary. We can go to the mall and hang out and play video games ....
Mine does that, too, prefers to have some leeway with canon actually (usually finds straight canon too restrictive.) I snooped on your other conversation and what you said about apping to games; she agrees with that, too. Too demanding, too restrictive. These casual meme things here and in the Bakerstreet place are a good alternative, at least.
Not like there's much snooping, I mean, it's right there.
Yeah, that's the other thing, she does this for fun, and doesn't have a whole lot of time for it, so having to use all of that time just keeping up with what other people are doing in a game? Not worth it.

Or... y'know, didn't, whichever.

...Well, besides like, your ribs, shoulder blades... Spine. Basically the whole "blood eagle" thing. But you know what I mean.

Love the new span, though.

Pretty sure that's reflex too, or some kind of instinct, I don't even know.

Your mun gonna stick you into a game?

Also can't have people she's avoiding.

I'm talking too much, aren't I?

Some people are saying I'm already there, but the writer wants to see it again to verify for herself first.
