Ah you're referring to the Fantastic Beasts trailer! I was actually speaking of Beauty and the Beast.

Oh yes I know! But I was saying how many of your lovely friends would come out when those fantastic beasts do appear. But don't worry, I'll be more than happy to be your friend.

Are you the Snow White from the fairytale? (Color her giddy.) ...the family?

Mnn, yes, though my dear friend Aurora and Cinderella would insist fairies don't have tails. But yes, the Disney family, as it were. Belle is a simply amazing person, and you're just as bright as she is. I dare say you read as much as she does, certainly.

[sophically]

Sleeping Beauty and...Cinderella, of course. I have seen fairies and I cannot say they have tails either. The name "fairytale" is meant to signify tales that are thought of as fanciful. Tales as in...t a l e s not t a i l s.

(Time to breathe.)

I am excited to see the finished product, I admit, but it will be strange to see my own face.

Oh, well, I'm sure in time you'll see them along. They already got their stories retold, Aurora is still a bit sore on what they did to Phillip. [That was putting it lightly last she and Aurora spoke regarding the Maleficent movie.] But I'm sure you'll have a wonderful retelling to be a part of! And yes, I did realize what you meant, I was making a little joke, Hermione. [She smiles good-naturedly.]

Well, it is a lovely face with such clever eyes, it shouldn't be too hard.

I can understand her frustration in that regard. He was such a hero in the original version. (An unstoppable force, really.) I think it will be enjoyable. Did you see the castle? It reminded me of Hogwarts.

(Now she flushes to the roots of her hair.)

Oh he wasn't just a hero, the love between them was absolutely beautiful as well, and well... [Again, she's trying not to bring it up too much, sore subject that it is.] And yes! I did, it was absolutely beautiful! Oh but that poor painting he destroyed. I wonder if they'll mention Beast's real name! [She knows it, mind you, just like she knows her own prince's but still...] You'll have your hands full I'm sure!

Oh now now now, none of that! Beauty isn't just about being the fairest of them all or the smartest of them all. It's not something to compare, that tends to lead to hurt feelings, I find. Besides, everyone finds different things beautiful.

It was unbreakable. (She nods. Snow White needn't say.) I always wished for a love like that. Who doesn't?

Him destroying the painting harkens back to the original film, though. I do not agree with art being ruined, but that was a nice touch on their part.

As for his name, all I know is Adam? I admit that doesn't sound very...French? I wonder if he was born to a King and Queen who were, more or less, foreign?

(It's interesting and she could go on and on about it, but she will spare Snow White that.)

My point is I never considered myself much of a...Princess?

It was, still is. And you can have true love, Hermione. It's for everyone, not just some.

Oh I know, I didn't agree with it then, I don't agree with it now. [She's seen every fairy tale and story, all things considered. She smiles.] It will be interesting to say the least! Do be careful though, Belle was never able to talk to animals so the wolves were quite nasty to her.

Well, that is the saying, but it's always this and that and not always "official" as they say, just like my Prince Florian. But we'll see! If Belle comes along to say hello, she'd be the best to ask!

Well, if you want to be, you can. A princess is whatever you wish to be, I mean, I may wear a pretty dress, but make no mistake about the house I tended and kept along with the castle and the seven dwarfs I took care of. Cinderella showed deep kindness and patience and could sew masterpieces, and Aurora was raised by three women all alone in the woods, she didn't have anyone but herself and them to get things done. Not to mention all the others, Merida, Tiana, Belle of course, Jasmine and Ariel to name just some of us. We're all so very different and we're all princesses. The only thing we have in common is being a woman.
