The advanced technology has been interesting to learn and experience, save for the times we've all been dragged into ViViD's program, but its effects are hardly lasting.

I'm already sharing a living space with Lee, and as of recently, Lee's robotic double, so if I can avoid them through the worst of it I can find a way to manage Sensei as well. [She doesn't really want to admit it but she understands the longing for the familiar, the time spent in strange places with stranger faces. Each weird place she had ended up in had been without her team- without many ninja at all, usually.

CERES gifted the colony's residents with servants- robots- to make up for past offenses. Activating one has resulted in them taking on that person's mannerisms. And looks.

She's not completely heartless though- and Neji is the only mostly sane friend she has so loyalty compels her to sympathize instead of making his situation worse. Another bowlcut tipping the balance was completely unfair and she couldn't just leave him outnumbered and without support.

Not like we haven't fought our own doubles before, even if it becomes a problem you two can handle it.

It was a risk, a safety concern, and no ninja worth their salt would just blindly accept such a thing in their lives. He's purposefully ignoring her questions to get a rise out of her.

It would probably result in the loss of chakra use in both her arms and a few days recovery but it is still very tempting.

There's a world outside of the colony, of course, but I suppose it must be near impossible to traverse. CERES is in control of everything, and they ought to have measures in place to ensures things stay that way.

[She is not nearly so disciplined and the mention of being subjected to a dating game is the first in that dump of information to get a reaction out of her- in the form of a loud, amused snort.

She should be concerned and everything else he said was interesting but it's such a ridiculous and out there thing to say and imagine that she can't really reign herself back in quickly enough to avoid annoying him. Again.

It was kind of surprising he'd even brought up such an embarrassing thing in the first place and pressing for details was a good way to ensure he'd never tell her about it. BUT MAN IT'S TEMPTING.]

Seems like a lot for one person to investigate on their own.

[She might have enjoyed giving all of her teammates a hard time more often than not, but she was also acutely aware of their strengths, their capabilities. Tenten was practical (well... mostly), she didn't expect Neji to have all the answers all the time.

For as much as he touted his superiority maybe she should- but she doesn't expect the impossible from either of them, they'd figure things out as they were able and really didn't owe her any sort of report anyway. It was better if they erred on the side of caution, and she'd done the same in some of the places she'd ended up in.]

One of the last places I was in said that home had been destroyed too and you guys never showed up... at least you have Lee with you. Even if he's multiplying.

[Well at least someone got a laugh out of it, not that that'd been the intention of bringing it up at all. It hadn't been. Shut up. Better to suffer being laughed at than recall whatever came after in that oh-so-welcoming ViViD experience.

[For someone who could accurately describe what every little twitch of an eyebrow meant about someones inner thoughts Neji was really fucking awful at explaining how people were feeling.

Yet she still kind of knows what he means. Lee was easily enough shaken (usually literally) from his more negative moods and had probably designated himself their youth cheerleader in Sensei's absence. And Hinata had a quiet strength that she didn't let out nearly enough that would make her rally, that would have her supporting them all in her own way.

Yeah. Tenten knew them. Which is why she was glad they were there with Neji because he had the emotional capacity of a turnip and would struggle to let anyone else in to help him.]

Are there monsters or anything? It could always be worse. Then again it's kind of fun getting to fight now and then too.
