[Having knowledge about the multiverse is not without its pratfalls as Kara Zor-El has come to realize. The rational part of her mind is reassuring her that her Clark is safe, alive and well Under the control of Myriad in her point of time, notwithstanding, but details. But her heart still goes out to Ma Kent, to Lois Lane, to everyone who Superman has touched. She can't even imagine how her counterpart in that world is handling the news.]

I-I know he isn't... [She stops, trying to calm herself down so her voice isn't shaky, but she's ultimately failing, her lip quivering while she hastily wipes the tears forming behind her glasses.] I know my Clark is still here, that he's safe, but it's... it's still Clark.

[There's a tremble when she breaths in, looking down while wrapping her arms around herself. The last thing she says is said softly, almost too soft for anyone to hear:] He's still family...

I'm still face palming at how easily that Bruce was manipulated. That so wasn't my mentor. [ She toes the ground though. ] You know he's the hero right? Once you make it to that level of awesome you can't stay well... yeah you don't stay 'gone' for long. Or Bruce too... [ She stops, yeah let's not go down that route! Really don't want to think of how that would be. ]

[Kara's experience with billionaires ehemehemMaxwellLord hasn't exactly been a positive one. But then again, both Max and Bruce have surprised Kara with their inherent altruism (though calling Lord altrusic is a stretch).]

He... [She nods, knowing that in the end the Batman did help Superman and Wonder Woman.] He was acting out of grief and fear. [From what she seen thanks to magical 4th Wall breaking. It just reminded her how General Lane treated Supergirl when they first met which makes Kara frown.] And he was vulnerable. I just wish it didn't end this way.

Not for Clark or Superman [ She barely whispers it because really, on her world, Clark's part of the extended family as much as Oliver, Diana and the others, she knows it's childish, but family can't die like that. Though she really wouldn't wish the Lazarus pit on any of them to bring them back. ]

I still feel like I shouldn't be there when teamed up with some of them. [ blame it on being the token human most of the time. Though she loves it. ]
