[He's got the same voice in human form, though with a slightly off tone thanks to his nerves.]

Make sure you're careful if you go anywhere.

[Her hands fly to her mouth.]

Aigaron? Look at you! You look... [not dead.] Good!

Have you been eating properly? Drinking fluids? You know how dehydrated you get when you don't have refreshments.

[She bit her lip a little.] I'm not going anywhere, not yet. Just keeping my mun's spirits up.

[His eyes widen a bit when she does that, actually scared for a moment that he's hurt her by being here. No. She's just worried. ... Good.

He lowers his head and shuffles, rubbing at the side of his head with one hand. Human bodies are too revealing with their emotions. He's not sure he likes it, but it's what he's ended up with.]

Please don't worry about me.

[He doesn't deserve it, not from someone like her. But maybe he can sidetrack the conversation a little, away from him.]

It would be easier if we could use their emotions ...

But Aigaron, it's really not good to keep following the old Deboss ways...

[Candelira pouted a little.] Luckiero and I adjusted well, couldn't you give it a try?

And of course I'm going to worry about you! You look like you need food with how thin you are.

[Yes, but there's a lot of despair where he is that he could utilize. He's not sure how he'd be able to use it, but it still feels like a waste.

Aigaron makes a noncommittal noise at the idea of adjusting. She could easily survive in 'normal' situations and he's not sure how he would fair. Even this is the first time he's spoken to anyone outside of the space.

He crouches down and absently draws designs in the dirt as a distraction.]

I'm fine where I am, as long as Kyoryublack and his friend stay away from me.

[But they've hashed out their differences, for the most part. He hopes.]

Oh? Kyoryublack is there? I hope you aren't butting heads with him, Aigaron.

[Here's a frowny Candelira for a moment before her expression perks up into a smile.] Remember to Keep Smiling and it'll be fine!

[Kyoryublack and Kyoryublack's friend that he ~~sort of~~ definitely killed. Who has tried to speak to him, but Aigaron has so far managed to avoid.

He looks back up at her, stares for a moment, then lowers his head again. Part of him wonders if his face would crack if he'd ever try.]

... yes, of course...

Ara? You need to try harder, Aigaron! Come now, one and two and...! [She cracks the biggest grin.]

[... oh, that stings. She looks very pretty when she does that. Which just makes him curl in on himself a little more, resting his free arm on his knees.]

No, no, no. It's okay. I can try later.

Awwww! But I know it's tough. Try a little, once in a while. When you feel... less sad than usual!

[It's a very confusing concept that her persistence is making him actually consider it. Even though he really has no idea where to start or what difference it would make.

He stands back up and dusts himself off.]

[Maybe he needs to find a way to borrow that sparkling presence to lighten up the space he's in. Since he certainly won't be the one to do it.

Aigaron stands there awkwardly for a few moments, wondering if there's something else he should say. He is definitely not good at this sort of thing.]

[That bright, cheery smile softened a little, into a more gentle one. Happier, but more gentle as she wanted to hug him but it would probably make Aigaron's head pop off like one of Luckiero's PEZ containers.]

I miss you, you know. Hoshigaron is really not the same, and she's all clingy on Dhaos. Even if I am in Torin's spot now... Luckiero and I miss you a lot. Even Dogold, I miss him too, and Boss Chaos when he wasn't crazy with evil.

But I really do miss you.

[Oh what the hell. You Only Deboss Once! She gives him a hug.]

[Aigaron's avoided anything regarding that line of canon, despite having a vague knowledge of it. He's about to tell her how much it stings to hear that she misses him because how is he supposed to respond to that? ... or to tell her that he also shares space with Dogold and it's not all it's cracked up to be. And he really wishes the mun would stop gathering so many people.

But he doesn't get a chance to, because he freezes the moment she touches him.

...though he has enough of a voice to make a very startled squeak.]

[Giving him a biiiiig hug, Candelira smiles at Aigaron before pulling away.]

Keep yourself safe, okay? I'll be watching. The Wise Goddess Candelira is on the case!

[Wait. Wait. Is he supposed to hug her back?? Does she want him to hug her back??? Would she be okay with that?? He raises his hands up as if to hug her, but stops partway while he considers his options. Except she steps back before he gets a chance to and he's left standing there in a very awkward position, still looking startled.

... should he try anyway??

[It's okay, just sort out those troublesome thoughts Aigaron. Candelira will let you wonder about it for a while.

Sensing his confusion, she smiled at him once more.] Take all the time you need.

[Aigaron frowns even more at that, though it does make him feel better that she's not judging him for it. She's never looked down on him. ... which is why-

He shuffles forward a little and carefully places his hands on her shoulders, as if he's afraid she'll break from him touching her at all. The thought occurs to him that this may the last time they ever see each other, which has him stepping forward a little more, tightly wrapping his arms around her.]

You've always been too kind to me ...

[Glee soared in Candelira as she gently hugged him back. Resting her head on his shoulder, she smiled.]

That's because I care. Not just because I'm the Soldier of Joy, but because I care for everyone.

[Oh, jeez. He's not sure what this emotion is he's feeling, but it's definitely not despair. Why does his face feel so warm??]

[Candelira giggles as she hugs him once more.] See? Smiles are useful!

[WELL THIS IS A FACE HE HASN'T SEE IN A LONG TIME

Nossan's not quite sure how to react to seeing his heart-shaped heart-throb in so long, so he stands awkwardly to one side, confused but delighted and very much uncertain if she recognises him.]

[Oh what is this? Is it really him?

With a squeal, Candelira practically pounces on Nossan in a hug.] It's been a while! How are you?

[He will accept that hug with a very tight cling in return. God he's missed her.]

Candelira!

[When he releases to look at her properly, he's a bit teary-eyed.]

I'm doing well! It's good to see you're okay!

It's been longer for me.

I miss you a lot.

[There's a fond smile and another brief, if fierce hug.]

[Have another strong reciprocating hug. But her comment has him very intrigued (and also, in no small part, smitten once more).]

The last time I saw you was back when we defeated Deboss a few months ago. How long has it been for you?

... It's been 100 years for me. I've long since resolved to help humanity, myself and Luckiero. We've taken over the old Spirit Base as well, since y'know, Torin doesn't live there anymore.

[She pouted.] It's not fair, humans have such short lives. And you're already middle aged!

[Don't be merciful or anything as you're tearing him a new one, Candi.]

I might be middle-aged, but that's no reason for you to middle in my affairs!

Middle in your affairs...! [She couldn't help it, she snickered and giggled madly. Somewhere there's a Luckiero commenting on how low-impact humor that was.]

I missed that. Your family descendant isn't as nearly as funny.

[He gives an exaggerated shrug, using the gesture to raise his arms to tug on his overalls.]

Ahh well, I guess some family traits just aren't pun-etic!

[Though the comment does get him wondering.]

Why Rika's grandchild! Nobuta! He looks just like you. Although he could definitely use a eyebrow plucking.

[To know Rika grows up to have such a good life that grandchildren occur fills Nossan with duncle pride.]

Isn't it? I went and gathered everyone's descendants, as best as I could. There was a bit of a misstep with the first colors, but we eventually got the main group together.

That's amazing...!

[He reaches gently over to her, and takes her hand in his. It's strange feeling her hand like this in his; she feels so small and delicate as a human. He can't stop his features softening when he looks at it, then back at her face again.]

I knew you'd come to like humans.

They are really a lot of fun. I just wish we had more time together. [said with a wistful sigh]
