Will I be able to meet more Dwarves? I am fond of Gimli. And what of the Elves? Prince Legolas and Lord Elrond give me a good impression of them.

Yes. [He doesn't look apologetic, though.] Uncle had fun with them. I'm sure I will too.

[Ah. The big question.]

I will live in the same house as Uncle for now. Then he and I have been given permission to sail to Valinor with the Elves, so...we will.

[Too bad. Frodo won't find any reason to visit Erebor as that's in the opposite direction of the Elves.

Maybe Thorin would have to find a way to visit Hobbiton instead.]

The Ring...affected him. It wore on him over the years. He looks much older and his mind isn't what it used to be.

But he is Bilbo. I will take care of him. [Because his Uncle is the one who showed he cared when everyone else wanted to kick Frodo out.]

I would be angry with myself. [He understands, Thorin.] He has been nothing but good to me. When the rest of the family turned their backs on me, he stepped in and gave me a good home.
