[apping at eway again]
Every time I think we're done with this you always push me back in.
[He sighs a moment, shaking his head.]
I know you think seeing Alex again will be a great plot twist but he shot me. The reunion won't be pretty- I'll either punch him in the face or he'll shoot me. I honestly don't think the odds are in my favor on this.
But I guess once you've made your mind there's no other option. I really wish you would reconsider though.

[Getting strangled, getting shanked, getting shot by an old college buddy. Good times! Gooooood times.]

Oh yeah, just about as much fun as letting you break Tim's leg.
[Though, he really didn't remember what he felt at the time. He knew he had been mad, that was obvious on the tape.]
I heard your mun was excited hearing I'm going to be coming back to Wonderland. I don't even want to imagine the things that are going to happen.
[Note to self:get a hammer, nails, and some wooden planks so we can board up the door to my room again. No way is Alex going to be allowed near Jay's room...]
I hope Wonderland's gotten a no-gun policy.
no subject
Alex laughs, a mirthless, scornful snort of hot air.]
"No-gun policy"? Buddy, there's a walking raccoon that just goes around handing them out.
no subject
[Oh, how he missed all the fights with Alex. Did he really have to come back to life just to fight with this guy?]
Yeah, I'm not surprised. I spent a good year there.
[There's a sigh.]
The worst part is going to be going back with no memory. There was another you there before. The first day I got there he killed me.
[He had a feeling that history was about to repeat itself.]
I'm not going to know you're there until it's probably to late. God damn it
no subject
[Hell if he has to justify himself to a dead man. Dead in the past and dead in the future if Alex has any say in it. Ha. Ha.
He smirks coldly.]
Looks like past me had some good instincts.
no subject
[He scoffs, looking disgusted at his ex-friend.]
You are so full of it. Can you hear how crazy you sound?
[Yes, he made his mistakes bringing Jessica into it but that was in the past. But then again- he knew how to make this sting.]
Is that why you killed Ashley? Cause she would spread it too?
[Way to be a dick, Jay. But he honestly felt he needed to cross a couple lines. He was dead, what did he have to lose?]
Oh yeah, Alex, you're such great boyfriend material.
no subject
And what were you doing? Huh? [He spits out the words, scathing.] You were just making it worse. Spreading it everywhere. Sharing it with the world.
[He keeps coming, glaring, expression cold.] You think I wanted to do that? You think I had a choice?
no subject
[He scoffed a bit.]
I was being a good friend, I was looking for you.
[He, of course, notices the advances. You would be surprised how many times he'd been punched by Alex. But he was going to swing a few hits if he had his own way.]
Don't put that on me, you were the one who gave me the tapes. It's not all my fault that they're around.
[and at the end of the day he really thought the viewers cared for him. If he died, they knew about it. People mourned for him.]
You could have let her go, you could have let us all go.At some point in time I never would have thought you would hurt anyone. But now, I have a feeling you really enjoyed killing me, Amy, everyone. I think you craved it.
no subject
Alex's fist hits the nearest wall.]
Shut up.
[There's a vein throbbing in his forehead. He shouldn't let himself get riled up by this, this little scrap of nobody he knew way the hell back in college. Thinks he's got the moral high ground, does he?]
If you'd just left well enough alone and stopped nagging me, maybe this never would've happened.
But no. I had to clean up your goddamn mess, because you had to dig up everyone's goddamn skeletons.
no subject
No, you will not pin this on me. You wanted me to help you find Amy, you wanted my help. Or are we talking before that? Because Amy was the one who found your camera. It's her fault that thing found you, not me.
[Yeah, he's basically asking to be punched in the face at this point.]
Excuse me for wanting to find answers. Alex, I've been attacked by Tim in a mask, teleported who knows how many times, and time change from room to room. I've had it worse than you have and you don't see me going around murdering old friends.
[Though, don't bring up him trying to stab Tim. Tim had it coming, right?]
no subject
This time Alex doesn't bother with the pleasantries. He just hurls one right for Jay's jaw, his teeth clenched. His knuckles still ache from the first impact, but he doesn't give a shit.]
You - goddamn - moron. You have no idea what you're doing. All you ever do is just - flounder, running in blind against things you don't understand.
[He adopts a high, mocking tone of voice.]
"I'm Jay, I'm going to explore this abandoned building at night, all alone!" Why don't you take a friend, Jay? Why don't you ask someone to come with you, Jay?
[He drops the pretense, expression deathly cold once more.]
Oh, right. Because you don't have anyone.
no subject
And you understood it?! Are you kidding me right now, Alex? We all knew this was over all of our heads. I chose to continue to look for you and help you. Who would have thought I would have spent the last couple months running from you?
[He stared at Alex as he was mocked. When he was allowed to speak his voice came out soft yet threatening.]
I had Tim. But at least I didn't ask friends to go with me and then kill them when we got there.
At least I knew that I wasn't some savior who was going to stop this by killing people. You aren't a knight in shining armor, you aren't saving anyone from this. You are killing people who wanted to help you!
This isn't one of your movies. [There was no happy ending for any of them.]
no subject
[He grinds out the words so they hang over the confrontation like a pall, takes that punch and doubles over even if it's like getting a wad of iron to the gut.]
You know about it. And that's how it works. It spreads. You have to kill everyone -
[His hostility doesn't fade, though it's, perhaps - marred a little, clouded over by something else.]
- and then yourself. That's the only way any of this stops. And you - [The word practically morphs into a snarl.] You had to drag everyone right back into it, didn't you?
no subject
[He frowned a bit.]
You are so full of shit.
[He crosses his arms as he stared at Alex.]
Well we're both technically dead aren't we? But I'm pretty sure that thing is still following us. Why didn't you just kill yourself? That thing wouldn't have bothered you anymore- but no, you had to kill all your friends. You aren't some hero Alex, you had no right taking anyone's life.
no subject
He can't explain nursing the tender hope that maybe if everyone else died - if everyone else died, maybe then he'd be safe. The ends justify the means. He fixes things.
Like a hero.]
Yeah? [He arches a cold eyebrow, his tone dripping with sarcasm.] I wonder what Tim would have to say to that.
["What have you been hiding from me?"]
no subject
But at the mention of Tim he froze. Sure Tim was a liar, that had caused them to have their terrible
breakupfallout. But that was over and done with. Jay hadn't been in his right mind when that had all happened. Here he thankfully had a clear head. But who knew if he would back in Wonderland.]What about Tim?
[That came out as a rather angry snarl. How dare he bring up the only person who Jay actually had left before it all went to shit.]
no subject
All this time, I thought you of all people would've learned. You're gonna need something more than a little switchblade if you want answers from anyone.
[He knows that feeling. God but he knows it. Everything slips out until you fix yourself on a singular goal to the exclusion of all else. Everything else.]
no subject
[He frowned a moment, finally looking away.Looking back on it now, he really had no idea what he was thinking. He just wasn't himself during that time at all.]
He was the only person I had left, we all know I wouldn't have been able to hurt him. Unlike you.
no subject
[No more pleasantries, not even false ones. The smirk slides off his face like oil.]
That's how it starts. [He taps one finger against the side of his head.] And that's how it ends.
no subject
In a fucked up way, he was a hypocrite. But with a shake of his head he changed from looking uncertain to angry.]
I'm not like you, I'm not a murderer.
no subject
[What's that thing they say about dying a hero or living long enough to see yourself become the blah blah blah?]
See, I would've been a lot smarter than pasting every little thing I did on the Internet. So, you know. There is a difference between us.
