Look I get why you're confused. After all my mom did... taking over the school, hurting my friends, nearly sending Apple into Forever After sleep, and not once apologizing... why do I still go to see her?

... I don't know, it's kind of hard to explain. I guess some part of me deep down must love her... and... I hope deep down some part of her loves me too. Maybe someday it'll be the one thing she loves more than herself.

But, hey, let me worry about that. You focus on your thing, like, maybe finding me a game? It would be nice to practice my magic somewhere else... and I wouldn't mind taking Nevermore with me.

Yeah, mine's still confused about that as well. She did say despite the moments of pure cliche, she and her friends enjoyed it.

I don't think anything's wrong with that? I mean she is your mom, despite how you two look at things. As weird as this sounds, maybe the fact she went out of her way to do these terrible things she did is how she shows her love for you?

There's plenty of places from what I've heard you can do magic and stuff. The one I'm in? Not so much. Yes, there's magic but it's fairy fail when it comes to what we need to do.

Maybe... I just wish she was the kind of mom who showed her love through milk and cookies. Y'know, instead of fire and screaming.

After all of that, I don't think anyone would blame for wanting a better mom.

Well...I can use magic now but only because of a contract I made with this white cat-like thing. It said it could grant any wish I wanted but I had to become a magical girl and I got sucked into a total different world.

I-I got desperate and caved, Raven. I wished not to follow my mom's story and it was like I was invisible to everyone in Ever After. If I had known the whole adventure to Wonderland would've dealt with the Storybook of Legends, I wouldn't have done it. My greatest fairy fail to date.

... It's not your fault, okay? It's not like you're the only one desperate to escape your family's story. Maybe in your shoes, I would have done the same thing.

Besides, happily ever after is a long way's off. I'm sure you can find a way back to Ever After High.

At least I'm not the only one there. Seems like a lot of people ended up doing a contract with that thing. They're pretty nice for the most part. I'm just trying my best to keep it together now.
