Still a-hunting for a game + a resolution for improvement.
Loyalty means nothing if you lack the focus to see my ambitions through, girl.
[Gee, I missed your condescending commentary, Ganondorf. The dark lord, however, is ignoring his mun's comment and continuing on with his ever so motivational lecture.]
I have no use for you if you can't achieve this one simple task. [P.S. It's not simple when you're ten times pickier than I am about where you'll go. Most games don't mesh well with power-hungry demon pigmen. Again, Ganondorf ignores his mun, however. The only indication that he's even heard her is the slight wrinkle of irritation that comes with a subtly scrunched nose and furrowed brows.] But perhaps even this is too much of a challenge for you. After all, if you can hardly carry out consistent responses on these "memes" of yours, I doubt your capacity to succeed in a game is any better.
Improve or perish.
[Thanks, man. Good talk(?).]

[ As much as she wants to encourage the mun, she can't bring herself to encourage finding
DemiseGanondorf a home among people that he can become a tyrant to. Sorry, not sorry. ]no subject
And if you truly believe that, you are a fool. Nothing is gained from passive ideals. If one cannot find something suitable, forge a path of your own. There is nothing a strong will can't solve.
She is not trying hard enough.
no subject
Everything happens for a reason, when it's time. [ Something that she has only recently come to terms with recently, despite all of the hope that she carries with her. ] Be patient. If this is what she wants, she will find a way, but bullying her isn't going to help.
... What sort of world would you want to go visit, anyway?
no subject
I will deal with her as I please. [He can be unnervingly patient; he had seven years worth of patience once! But his mun is annoying, and if he could figure out how, he'd kick her in the face. Their priorities are struggling to coincide; she's having more fun forcing him to simply interact with people when he's more interested in conquering and warmongering. Of course, he's not going to vent these problems to Zelda, so he just fumes for a minute before moving on.]
...You would be surprised by the places that interest me, girl. Of all the worlds I've been in, my favorite was a magical school. [Of course... he was manipulative, pretending to be a good man when his motives were quite the opposite. He'd even murdered people without anyone knowing. It was interesting and he'd enjoyed it. His mun did, too.] I am not nearly as picky as she thinks, this servant of mine. If things don't appear to work in my favor, I find a way to make them. There is potential everywhere.

So you should at least consider addressing her as an equal, and not a servant.
[
Mun isn't holding her breath on that one.Her hands brush quickly up and down the length of her arms to dispel the goosebumps, before Zelda settles for resting them before her. Wait -- what? ] A magic school? [ The surprise in her tone colours her countenance; all thoughts of guarding against Ganondorf and presenting only a calm, collected front are gone, as she falls all too short of hiding her surprise. She's only been to one other place so far, where the fairies were far from kind, and the Link had taken to threatening her life once or twice a week.
But, that's hardly for him to know, right? ]
Whatever you decide to make work, you know there will be someone there, looking after that place, right? [ ... Even if it has to be her. ]

But he does know that Zelda's words amuse him, taking voice in a scoff.] I'll give her credit for having a smart taste in alliances, but she remains pitifully scatterbrained. If she intends to serve me, she had best meet my expectations.
[But she sort of makes up for it by being very effective at Hyrule Warriors; at least he gets to dominate Hyrule on a fairly regular basis that way. Probably the mun's one saving grace at this point.
The surprise is received with further amusement, if only because he expected as much. A magic school ordinarily isn't a place one might think to see Ganondorf. When most see him, it's on the battlefield, where he appears as the fear-inspiring warrior he is. Perhaps it's easier to see him that way, and truth be told, it's how he prefers others to see him. Things are much simpler when he's the warmongering King of Evil without hobbies or interests beyond power.] Indeed. I was a professor. [And now to let that sink in.] Most students lacked the ability to master my lessons, but there were some that were... promising enough. [Had the game not closed, he might have started recruiting the more promising students to his cause, but alas.]
It would be dull without a proper challenge. [So come at him if you dare, Zelda.]
/tl;dr s you all over the place
Though she has only recently come into her divinity, accepting the consequences of her identity ad her choices -- both past and present -- the reawakening of the goddess within her has given Zelda a much broader understanding of the prophecy, of the world. When Link defeats Demise and returns to awaken her, as she trusts him to pull through even the most strained of odds, she knows that the peace that it comes at his heels will only be for so long, and another Link will be asked to do the same. The goddess draws a deep breath, but keeps her shoulders squared and her head held high, wanting nothing more than apologize to the cursed entity before her for something that begun long, long before he could have had a say in the part he played.
But now is not the time or place.
And he is still Ganondorf. ]
Have patience. [ And she is a goddess, but admittedly still Zelda -- not Princess Zelda, as those hands finding her hips and her wrinkled nose so quickly clarifies. Far from your Zelda, Ganondorf. ] The more demanding you, the more nervous she might become. She has come this far, and that's something, right? Mine wants to find somewhere, too, but seems a little nervous.
Maybe yours just needs a little encouragement!
You should remember to thank her for what she does do.
[ Especially since her own mun fails pretty badly at Hyrule Warriors, and tends to instead watch one of her roommates play and faithfully cheer them on until they inevitably choose Ghiraham or
GanondorkGanondorf. Regardless, it's strange meeting him in this setting and seeing that there is more to the descendant of her nightmares than simply blind hunger for power. She has questions, but she bites her tongue, if only for the moment. ]My father is a headmaster. [ It slips from her lips before she can think to stop it, but instead of backtracking, she elaborates. With the whirlwind of events and responsibilities, it's nice to think of home, and her loftwing. ] At the knight's academy. I'm sure that you were a diligent teacher, but whatever you were teaching them ... [ Zelda purses her lips, her bright blue eyes narrowing at the looming figure before her. The goosebumps have returned, but she refuses to acknowledge them. ] That was cruel. Some of them probably looked up to you, and you would lead them astray? [ And softer, just because curiosity gets the best of her: ] What subject did you teach?
[ Sans sword or shield, but still willing to fight. This Zelda might not be the one from your world, Ganondorf -- younger, less regal -- but the resemblance and determination is uncanny. ]
Then I'll make sure you aren't without one. If your mun finds you a home, I'm going too.
/omg i love tl;dr, let me return the favor
What exactly that means is not wholly clear to him, but he knows fate has not been kind on his behalf and that the Hero and the Princess will always stand in his path, no matter how long he lives or how many times he is reborn. The three of them are eternally bound, it would seem. He despises them for it, as if it were their fault and not his for eternally perpetuating the cycle by embracing his role as Demon King.]
If nothing else, she is too comfortable. [But Zelda's almost childlike nose wrinkling and huff gets a chuckle out of him, even if it's not exactly benign. Certainly not something he's used to seeing from the princess, even from the young one during his original era.] I don't waste time on niceties, nor should you.
[In fact, Ganondorf uttering the words 'thank you' would probably make his mun die from shock. All the same, she appreciates Zelda's valiant effort and encourages her mun to keep practicing at Hyrule Warriors! If only it had online multiplayer, weeps.
Nonetheless, he listens with great interest. And still, not out of kindness. Know thy enemy; He poured years of research into Hyrule and the Triforce before he ever tried to steal it. But perhaps there is a small part of him that finds simple curiosity in this one, simply because of how different she is from the princess he is familiar with.] Headmaster... and not king. How interesting. You are not royalty, then. [She doesn't carry herself like one. Just a young girl... one with a heavy burden to bear, but he hadn't thought much of it until now.]
Perhaps it was, but the world is not a kind place. [A grim outlook at best. He smiles, but there's a dark tinge to it.] The art of transforming one object into something else. [Something he is quite skilled at. To demonstrate, he brings up a hand, fingers splayed. A fireball whirls into existence upon his palm before being transformed into a bat with flames streaming behind its wings. It flutters about harmlessly for a moment before disappearing into thin air, with Ganondorf's hand returning to his side. He has no interest in attacking Zelda at present. Near as he can tell, she has no Triforce of Wisdom and would not pose much of a threat in battle as she is now. Even this King of Evil has standards, and it would just be an insult to his skill to attack so cheaply.
Still, her assertion brings another sinister chuckle.]
Very well, Zelda. We shall see how long you can stand against me.
okay. just taking a moment to tell you that your ganondorf is RIDICULOUSLY EXCELLENT /drops mic
She imagines every soul that had the chance to continue on, happy, and her smile returns -- albeit somewhat somber now. ]
Hmm? [ Well, at least until Ganondorf speaks and she blinks, baffled by such arrogance. Her hands rest at her hips as she leans forward a little, seemingly but moments from sticking her tongue out at the feared Demon King in her frustrations, but falls just short of doing so. ] It's not wasting time; it's only a moment, and it's -- you just should. [ It's like reasoning with a small child, or Link when he's just awoken, maybe worse. Somehow, the goddess can't imagine Ganondorf taking to the analogy, though. ] So why shouldn't I?
[ Zelda shall continue to fight for your
honorright to go without quite so much ridicule, mun! Just as her mun might put in an hour or so of Hyrule Warriors tonight! With the hope of online multiplayer someday, sobs. ]Father, a king? [ She debates for a moment, and then decides he would be excellent: patient, just, and compassionate. The smile that has taken to her lips warms considerably as she shakes her head, one hand playing absently at the bracelet spiraled across her opposite wrist. ] He looks after everyone like one, but no, he isn't a king, and I'm not a princess. [ Zelda tilts her head a little, studying the figure before her a moment, blue eyes searching his countenance for a reaction, before she states: ] I'm a goddess.
[ It still tastes a little strange upon her tongue, as half a day brimming with travel and new sights makes coming to terms with one's divinity a little challenging. The conjured magic proves a potentially dangerous distraction, her breath catching briefly in her throat as her gaze trails the creature it becomes --
Until the moment it disperses, as if it never existed in the first place. Her shoulders are tense and her brows knitted slightly in thought. ] It can be. [ Slender arms fall back to her side, her hands clenched into small fists as she directs her attention back to Ganondorf. ] I will do everything in my power to see that it will be, regardless of your intentions.
[ His chuckle seems to carry and she fights the urge to shiver, the flush of anger that aches to find the tips of her ears. Instead, her nails dig faint crescent shapes into her palm. ]
And I think that you underestimate me.

It won't matter where you go, evil never lasts long with so many to stop it.
no subject
Is that so? [A low, rumbling chuckle.] Where there is light, there will always be darkness to snuff it out, Princess.

[And he's aggressively trying to push her back on track. That's Ganondorf's idea of being helpful.]

It's funny how you call her your "servant", and yet you can't follow your own direction...

I've been sealed away many times and always find a way to reach my full power, even if that means using a vessel. She is merely a means to an end.

So, what sort of game is your mun looking for? Perhaps I might have an idea...

[The God of Magic rolls his eyes dramatically as he eyes the ugly green bastard.]
You just love to hear yourself talk, dontcha? Jeez! Such an egotist.
no subject
I don't recall speaking to you.
[That is to say, you can leave if he's so boring. In fact, please do because he already doesn't like you.]
no subject
Therefore, let the fanboying begin.]
You have an audience of a dozen or so people, green-bean. You should at least try to keep things entertaining.
[The clown smirks.]
