Yes you really need to think of a better name than Space Navy. That said, I don't see issue with simply marines? It describes the gist of it and how I feel about it. I'm proud of my job.

I dunno, 'Space Navy' does have a certain ring to it.

Where I'm from we're just called The Alliance Forces which I always thought was a little unoriginal.

We are separate from the Navy. Giving my branch such a similair name cheapens their job, I feel.

The closest we got to that would simply be United Earth. We do got allies but each of us do our own thing. There's no united name for it.

Sounds complicated.

I honestly try to stay out of a lot of that side of the job, can never keep track of half the ranks and classes and divisions and everything else. Usually just stick to the 'cutting people up' thing.

My last asignment was at Wylde III. Then I was transfered to Hawton Research Facility, following an inccident with aliens. I'm currently on leave.

If you mean bad as in doing something wrong then no, not that kind of leave. It's more for my physical and mental health than anything else. I was experimented on. By aliens. Our researchers has not found a way to restore me. I reckon I need to find it myself.

We're discovering so many new alien species all the time it can be... nearly impossible to keep up with all of their abilities and create cures and just know what the hell to do sometimes. It's... frustrating. To say the least.

I hope you find the solutions to your problems. It can be a tough road.

It's a big universe. I'd know a few things which may narrow it down. It's a sapient specie with tech beyond anything we have seen. And they're not one of the known species.

I'd understand doc. There's tech and biological traits out there we haven't seen before. Can't be easy to be in your position.

But I do have a colleague who's something of an expert in xenomorphology. If you ever find yourself near the outer edges of the galaxy... we'd be happy to take a look at you.

Unless I'm on an assignment that may prove difficult I'm afraid. The work I participate is usually on the edge of explored space. The edge of the galaxy tho... that's less common.

I figured it was a long shot, but hey nothing lost from offering, right!

I'm stationed out here in Eos 10 for the unforeseen future. We're right on the edge of Alliance territory. Last trading post before the wild west, as it were.

I've similar experiences. I was with the ICE initiative prior to my leave. It was a tough life, living on the edge of human territory with little support from HQ.

I have seen that before. Anxiety and stress grows rapidly when you're forced to live close onto people for long periods of time. Do you got access to a psychiatrist to talk to if needed?

Yeah we got psychiatrists by the dozen around here. They are kept VERY well in business.

When he was a prince he had an entire sport's team executed because he didn't like the colour of their uniforms.

He's mostly harmless. Well, he did blow up a ship once but to be fair no one was on it.

Although now that I say all of this out loud....

Some doctors and forces within the force I reckon, is interested in using that rather than help me. A biological weapon, that's me in their eyes.

No idea. Who knows why aliens do what they do? I wasn't the only one they took, but I was the only one in my squad whom survived the experinents.

Not far I'm afraid. Only rumors. I got a solid lead regarding the people of Aurora. They seem to have similair abilities naturally. I can't reach them though as they're under attack by Salvaaria.

Inconvenient timing.

Indeed. I can't let it stop me though. It's not the first time I have been in the heat of battle.
