Yes you really need to think of a better name than Space Navy. That said, I don't see issue with simply marines? It describes the gist of it and how I feel about it. I'm proud of my job.
Still... yeah I got nothing. You're supposed to be the man with the plan here.

Where I'm from we're just called The Alliance Forces which I always thought was a little unoriginal.

The closest we got to that would simply be United Earth. We do got allies but each of us do our own thing. There's no united name for it.

I honestly try to stay out of a lot of that side of the job, can never keep track of half the ranks and classes and divisions and everything else. Usually just stick to the 'cutting people up' thing.
[Hold on s sec that came out kind of wrong.]
Because I'm a surgeon. Just to clarify. Not a psychopath.

You had me worried there for a sec, doc.
But yes it's a lot to keep straight in your head. It's my life and duty though. So you learn. I haven't been in the field for quite some time though.

Really need to say these these in my head first before they come out.
So, uh, where are you stationed then? I'm at Eos 10 these days. Don't know if you've heard of it, near the outer territories.

I'm Ryan, by the way. Or Dr Dalias if we're being formal. I'm... new around here.
If that's even the right term.

I'm sergeant Christopher Walker. Pleasure meeting you doctor Dalias. I've been here for almost 13 months now.

We're discovering so many new alien species all the time it can be... nearly impossible to keep up with all of their abilities and create cures and just know what the hell to do sometimes. It's... frustrating. To say the least.
I hope you find the solutions to your problems. It can be a tough road.

I'd understand doc. There's tech and biological traits out there we haven't seen before. Can't be easy to be in your position.

But I do have a colleague who's something of an expert in xenomorphology. If you ever find yourself near the outer edges of the galaxy... we'd be happy to take a look at you.

I'm stationed out here in Eos 10 for the unforeseen future. We're right on the edge of Alliance territory. Last trading post before the wild west, as it were.

I appreciate it.

We have... A few eccentric characters around here.

Although I'm fairly sure Levi's just always been this insane.
And please, just Ryan. 'doc' makes me feel like some kind of children's television character.

I have seen that before. Anxiety and stress grows rapidly when you're forced to live close onto people for long periods of time. Do you got access to a psychiatrist to talk to if needed?
But sure it's possible he's just insane...

When he was a prince he had an entire sport's team executed because he didn't like the colour of their uniforms.
I'm... a little bit afraid of him sometimes.

Although now that I say all of this out loud....
Never mind. So, uh, how's your leave going? Keeping... Busy?
no subject
I'm keeping busy. Trying to do what limited research is available to me.

[subject change! Yes excellent.]
Do you not have a doctor on your case? I'd think with something like this... First contact with a new species and everything. They'd be keeping a close eye.

People are kiiiiiind of assholes. Most of the time. When this sort of thing happens.
I keep thinking the human race is getting better and then... Nope still just mostly just dicks.

I can't even go through metal detectors nowadays...

Of course... my Mun knows why. [Eyes writer] But he won't tell.

So you said you were researching? How far have you got?
