So, look. I get why people have been reacting to my... indecisiveness. And I'm glad you understand where I'm coming from... Someone has to, I mean.
That... doesn't really make it any easier, though. We can't just be running around like we did when we were kids. We have to figure out how to be responsible with our power, and the consequences of wielding it.
If that means I have to hesitate, I will. But I'm not going to run away, either.

But if we spend too much time worrying about that then it'll be worse in the long run. If you guys hadn't fought then imagine how many more people would've been hurt.
no subject
I'm not. Saying you're wrong, Mimi. It's just a lot to think about. A lot I need to think about.
no subject
Alphamon sure wouldn't have.

It's not about whose fault it is, either, Mimi. It's about what to do when the battle's over.
no subject
[And she'd almost run away.]
But you can't let what might happen stop you from doing what you have to.
no subject
But I need to think about HOW I do it. That's... what I'm trying to say.
If I just do whatever comes to mind... without thinking about people...
...
And then there's Nishikawa-sensei's group. What does their appearing mean? Are they really on our side. A group of humans exists to deal with digimon...
no subject
But it's no surprise after last time the digimon showed up. I'm just surprised they wanted our help!

He wouldn't help them if they weren't good guys, right?

Does your teacher seem on the up-and-up?
no subject
... And no, he's just generally really suspicious.
no subject
Well, he's part of some secret government thing so of course he's suspicious.
no subject
Just. I don't know. Takato and Masaru both told me about government organizations that dealt with Digimon. There were good people there, but...
... There were also people who made mistakes. And people who were just plain awful. I don't want that for our world.
no subject
All we can do is what we can do! If the government wants to do something, it's not like we can stop them.
no subject
You're always so sure of yourself and everything else, Mimi.
no subject
What else do I need, huh?
no subject
... By the way, was it your idea to ditch me and Yamato on the ferris wheel?
no subject
It wasn't all my idea.

It was kind of a group thing. None of us wanted to deal with you two glaring at each other all the time.

It's not our fault you two grew up handsome. Who wouldn't want to watch? We could barely keep Sora away from the window.

in which Taichi is completely wrong but the speculation seems reasonable from his POV
It does make sense sort of.
