So, look. I get why people have been reacting to my... indecisiveness. And I'm glad you understand where I'm coming from... Someone has to, I mean.

That... doesn't really make it any easier, though. We can't just be running around like we did when we were kids. We have to figure out how to be responsible with our power, and the consequences of wielding it.

If that means I have to hesitate, I will. But I'm not going to run away, either.

I don't think there's any harm in thinking about it. Some of our fights did a lot of damage to the real world. But... I think that if we hadn't been there it could have been worse.

... Maybe, but there's a lot more to think about than the damage that's done. It doesn't really help the people who get hurt in the crossfire, either.
