Don't get me wrong! I'm really excited about going to a new world and meeting some new people. But... do you think I could meet Guilmon there? 

There's a promise I made that I really want to keep.

If there's even a chance he could be there, I have to go.

Still Ruki. [ and you're still stuck with her, whether or not she is going to acknowledge she missed you. which of course she did. ]

It's been a while for me, too -- but do you even know what kinds of places these are?

[He grins more than a little sheepishly. ]

Um, no? I kind of stopped listening after I heard that Guilmon might be able to go there with me. But it can't be too bad, right?

[ sigh. of course he's jumping into danger blindly; he wouldn't be takato if he didn't, right? ]

Some of these places are dangerous. Maybe even worse than the digital world. Do you know where you're going?

I think I heard something about Arda Marred? And maybe Genessia was in there too. I'm not sure. They're kind of weird names, right?

[digimonqueen]

[ she doesn't know any of those names, but that doesn't mean they're harmless. ] And you're going alone? [ not that she's concerned. ]

Mun said there was a kid there that knew about digimon. [Because that made everything all right. ]

[ right. perfect. except not so much. ]

Is this kid a tamer?

[dreamtamer]

....No? But if he has a digimon partner he can't be too bad!

[digimonqueen]

....... Right.

Because no one with a digimon has ill intentions. [ not amused, goggle boy. ]

...But not everyone. Talking to them is worth a try, right? Maybe he'll like Guilmon bread!

I know my mun tends to focus on games where Wormmon can come too. Something about how having him around is good for me.

She's right about that. He's my best friend.

I've been sent to both kind of places before. Some of them were really terrible places to be alone.

[He didn't really like thinking about those times. Because the most terrible thing was that sometimes Guilmon had been there, and then he had disappeared. And that was the worst thing of all.]

But if I can meet Guilmon again...

So I've heard. It's been a while for me, though.

Do you mean that it's been a long time since you went to one of these games? Or something else?

Yeah, unless you count the one my mun just signed me up for.

It's been almost two years for me.

That long? I think it's been longer for me, but I haven't been keeping track.

Mmm, the last place was really terrible. So I kept count after that.

I'm sorry to hear that. Mine... even when it's bad, it's been spread out over all of us. Though that doesn't always help if you have friends who are in trouble.

[it was weird when he wasn't the one dealing with the creepy darkness and evil stuff.]

Mmm, I've always been sent before to places where terrible things happen. To everyone. Mun says it's because it's a challenge to find something worse than the D-Reaper, but it seems to me like that's a terrible way to think.

Yeah. I think a lot of us have been through enough. It would be nice if we didn't have to find things that made us want to go back to the Good Old Days.

[Granted, a lot of Ken's horrors were becoming the main antagonist for 20 episodes]
