I do not see why a human such as yourself would seek out my voice, good human, and yearn to use it, to take it into yourself. Yet...I shall not struggle with your desire.
[Good human? Don't you mean good hunter?]
No. You admitted yourself you have never partaken of the Hunt, so it would be inaccurate to call you that, would it not? It is yet stranger why you seek me out, seek to move me to your Dream, when you have never Hunted before.
Perhaps....you seek worth in the waking world from this doll? A strange way to seek it, good human, but I shall aide you, to the best of my abilities to do so...until you need me no more.

We do a lot of strange things for...unknown reasons.

athe Good Hunter. Its not quite a smile but its awfully close...for her anyways]And you have no reasoning for doing such things, Good Hunter? [She asks in a softly curious voice]
I am a doll, made for a singular purpose. Yet, knowing my purpose gives some small comfort. That you humans simply do things without even knowing why...it must be dreadfully frightening for you.
no subject
It can be very frightening, but it can be very rewarding as well. It's a double edged sword.

I see. Thank you for explaining, Good Hunter. I feel that I might understand my human's reasonings now. [And that's all she says on the matter, her minimalist facial expression and body posture showing off her pleased attitude]

[She smiles faintly, head tilting slightly.]
I'm glad I could help.

And I am glad that you deigned to answer my query, Good Hunter. Pray tell, could you endure this doll's questions once more? What is it that you desire, not from this doll, but from the waking world?
no subject
Peace, to return home once again and see the family I left behind.
no subject
Oh, you have a family, Good Hunter? Are they within the walls of Yharnam?
no subject
No, I traveled to Yharnam looking for Paleblood. I left them home with the hopes I would return one day.

[....]
Tell me...more about them?

I left behind two sisters and our mother, all strong women, in their own ways. One of my sisters has always been fond of reading, so she pursued higher education, excelling all the way through university and eventually earning her own place as a teacher. The youngest, however, is a bit of a firecracker, enjoying romping around in the mud with the boys.
She wishes to play all their games just as good as them, if not better. Our mother is a no nonsense type of woman, but she always told us to do whatever it was we wished to do and to never let anyone tell us we couldn't.
[Her head turns and a fond smile tugs at her lips.]

[The pause was pregnant, heavy with the words the doll could not say, should not say, cannot say. For a moment, yearning blooms through her before it is stifled. Desire as she might, she would never, could never know of family firsthand.
until the end and the beginning of the new childbirth. For the longest time she is silent, immobile, shivering on the spot before she isforciblycentered and speaks again]Good Hunter...thank you for honoring my foolish request. It is good to know more of life beyond the Hunt for you hunters.
[+1 Insight from learning of the doll's desire]Right in the feels...
You're welcome. And it's not foolish, not at all.
I was aiming for that. Am surprise of successful hit o wo
Is man foolish for seeking out the truly impossible?
Anything concerning the doll gives me feels
It depends on what that impossible is.
Huh, will have to step up my game then :V
A most loaded statement, hunter.
no subject
There are many things someone could consider impossible. Yet their impossible is another's possible, it varies from person to person.
That's not to say there aren't some truly impossible things. One cannot make water into gold, for instance.
no subject
Indeed hunter, but....I feel it is foolish to desire for what is truly impossible. [The "For me" goes unsaid. It does need to be said at this point, does it?]
no subject
But is it truly impossible for another?

from the eyes inside? Because the doll is just going to stare. And stare. And stare. Stare stare stare. Stare some more. She's killing this topic with staring]no subject

[Her words are as final as the closing of a slab of stone over the tomb. Her charge, her purpose will not allow it. Until her purpose changes, she cannot have it.]
no subject
If there is, perhaps she'll find it, perhaps not.]
At another time, then.

[Oh how delightful! You want to become her horrible godbabby :D]
no subject
[Well...maybe not that. Gotta be another method somewhere in there, reading between the lines and all.]
no subject
What else is it that you desire, Good Hunter?
[Nnnnnnope. Just godbabby and her dollmommy. Because ~*REASONS*~]

[Good girl. I promise I'll pick nice playmates, not like those big meanies Dagon and Hydra. Plus I got just the CUTEST baby buggy! *A*]
