That... that has to mean something, right? She watched that video we sent her... she talked to me even though I wasn't there to hear her.

This hardly seems fair.

No... No, it's not fair, but life's not fair. Six months is a long time when you're stranded on a faraway alien world... Especially when you've already given up hope that you're ever going home.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised but... It still hurts. Like it was right there and I bollocksed it up by not keeping her safe. Now she wants...

Now we have to bring him home. I don't want her to be unhappy. If anyone should know what it's like to find someone and.. have it torn out of your hands...
