Well, I'm certainly the more favourable choice, even if this decision is vastly deplorable.
You realise I am no easy task manager? I am somewhat apprehensive of the early timeline which you are taking me from. I understand that you would prefer me happy rather than angered, but it does cause me concern that you can so easily by-pass events which are important to me. I also understand that this can be changed, but your pacing causes me some great impatience.
I will, however, persevere, and no doubt be clueless. You have left me with little choice, so let us both get on with it.

[ Well, this is all very odd. At least they can both coast through on manners, a hand touching his breast when he bows slightly. ]

[Odd, yes. But the stuffy formalities are familiar - small talk can happen later. She curtsies, briefly, giving a small nod. ]
I am Lady Morgana, ward of Uther Pendragon.
[Future Queen, goes unsaid because the fourth wall is a funny business. Also one can never be too careful about who is listening in. ]

I hope our future meeting goes smoothly. Already, I have the map of the kingdoms in my possession. Which would you hail from?

It's not as if those events are completely brushed aside. You just... won't know they happened yet.

She's only giving you more time to feel betrayal.

Of that I have no doubt at all.

Better to discover early what our friends will do. Perhaps you can prepare for it better than I did. [Do not be a scooby doo villain, it is an unfulfilling life. :c]

I must admit that I fear I cannot change the path you have taken - the path I seem destined to take.
[It's a sobering prospect, defeat. ]

Then enjoy what happiness there is to enjoy - and mourn it all the harder once it's gone.

Is that so? Always so kind, aren't you, Arthur?

Not always. I'm certain there's some people who would say otherwise. [Like Merlin.]

You've made your father proud, in any case.
