{There is a slight shift as Ashura stretches out a long leg, resting his head against a wall.}

What will you do if my sword arm has weakened?

[Well well well. If it isn't the rivaling king. Six months of attempting to fight Ashura's armies, and Kurogane still doesn't know what to make of him.]

If your sword arm's weakened, you find someone to spar with. [A pause, then he adds a plain:] ...Your Majesty.

{Ashura isn't sure what to make of himself most days, so that is an entirely understandable conclusion, Kurogane.}

Are you offering? {He grins.} Does the title apply when I am so far from home?

[Kurogane is offering, yes, and he moves his hand to Ginryuu to acknowledge that.]

Distance makes no difference. After all, no matter how far apart I am from Princess Tomoyo, she's still my ruler. The titles comes to those who've earned it.

I earn it through leadership and my sword. {He draws said weapon, acknowledging the offer with a tip of his head.} You are honorable to recall your loyalties, though I know not of this Princess.

[He'd claim that he would never expect Ashura to, but... Hitsuzen and dream-seeing and all that shit. It wouldn't be the first time someone happens to know Tomoyo.]

That's fine. [He draws his own sword with a calm slicing movement, grinning.] ...It's been a while since I last faced someone like you. Should be good practice. If you're up for it right now, that is.

(Funny how that works. He would have to spend his days dream-seeing because his nights are quite occupied.)

I wonder if you have become rusty? (He can do smack talk too.) I am waiting.

[Rusty? Please. He was fighting enormous fish monsters less than a month ago. ...It kinda broke his artificial arm, but boy was it worth it.]

Many pardons, Your Majesty. [His grin widens even further and the next second he dashes forward, sword ready to do some major damage.]
