I am glad, though, that Jacob and I... we're alright. And that we're working together again. I do wonder what George will think of our accomplishments. For 200 years London was controlled by Templars... And in just one year, the Frye twins managed to dismantle their order. 

[She grins, though it's more nostalgic than arrogant now. There's still work to be done, but she's glad for this nonetheless.]

As for Henry- Your comments are almost as insufferable as Jacob's teasing. All that matters is that he's realized what he's capable of, realized how much he can accomplish when he isn't sitting around in a train. He saved my life, and Jacob's. I'm... grateful that he is my ally.

That is indeed an accomplishment to celebrate, sorella. How did you manage it?

[Evie blinks and takes a deep breath, trying to respond politely and appropriately. She's known for some time meeting him or others was a possibility, but it's still... difficult to take in.]

I- We, my brother and I - and Henry... we worked together to attack them from various angles. I focused on researching and locating the Piece of Eden, while my brother utilized his gang to gain information and eliminate our targets. Together is truly the key word here, I believe. I would not have been able to accomplish this on my own.

[A pause and,]

It's an honor to meet you, by the way. I've studied your work extensively, from your techniques to your encounters with the Pieces of Eden...

[ Ezio listens attentively, a smile playing at the corner of his mouth. Il Mentore might not know her, but it's clear that she's done so very well for herself, and for her city in turn. 'Virtu', he told Machiavelli once, when pressed for the reason behind his own success. She must have more than a measure of that in herself. ]

[Now would be the time for Jacob to wake her up with a pinch, to laugh about how she was talking in her sleep. Except that doesn't happen and she still has to continue this conversation. She nods, having trouble finding the right words.]

Perhaps, but- I suppose I learned the most when I was away from my studies. I was so focused on upholding my father's legacy that I thought it best to only have allies rather than friends. I was wrong and I'm glad I realized that in time.

[Oh, right! Of course, he wouldn't know her name... She grins as he does, though her smile is a bit more awkward.]

Evie Frye. Dame Evie Frye now, actually. I'm a master assassin from the British Brotherhood in 1868.

[ Oh, how that sounds familiar, upholding the family legacy through one's work. They could probably talk for hours on that alone.

[At his touch, she tenses up slightly, but she continues to smile nonetheless. She's never been one for physical contact and while she is comfortable with Henry and Jacob- It was different interacting with your fiance or your brother than say, interacting with a historical figure you idolized.]

And as I said earlier... it's an honor to meet you, Mr. Auditore. And yes, he was. My mother was as well, but she died in childbirth. My father trained my brother and I to be assassins from a very young age in hopes we'd carry on our family's legacy.

A lot to see, and to experience. I hope that you'll allow yourself that, as that's how you'll learn the most. Of course, I must admit I myself am more comfortable researching at times...

Perhaps, we can use all our strengths. After all, would you say that studying is not a strength of mine as well? And you know very well how I'd like for you to join me in the field. Although I suppose I can give you a few tips... You must be rusty after so many years in your curio shop.

You've proved to have many strengths, Evie. [And just because he sees her with rose-colored glasses doesn't mean it's not true.] I believe I've retained my skills, but they're sorely in need of testing.

I'm sure I can think of plenty of ways to test you then.

[Although her idea of testing skills was mostly competition.]

It will be refreshing to train with someone who isn't Jacob. Just as it was refreshing to do fieldwork with you this past year. Nothing blew up, so I would say that's an accomplishment, yes?
