[Canon is ReAnimator] On the closing of Glasskey and the 30th Anniversary of his canon
It was too good to last. The Valletta family took me in so easily, it made me suspicious from the instant they slapped that brand on my side... Oh, I know you're heart-broken, but try looking at it from my end of the stick: I'm back in the - how did you put it? - "not-so-tender mercies of the Essex County judicial system". You make it sound like they're going to hang me for witchcraft, when you put it that way, though I suppose, if this were three hundred years ago, they probably would do just that. I'd like to see them try, given how I've been trying out a diluted formula on myself...
Yes, we're both itching to find some other hiding place for me. Try finding some place a little more rational and less fantastical than the place you have in mind?
And stop grumbling about missing the anniversary of the exact date those dabblers unleashed that mockery of my story onto an unsuspecting world. If I could have a moment with that Stewart Gordon to give him a few choice words about what really happened, it might not have been such an incoherent mess, especially in the second installment. And stop fretting about that Rawlik fellow's opinion of me: I've a thick skin for people's displeasure, and I'd advise you to develop the same. Methinks that man in particular doth protest too much, as the saying goes.
