It's definitely a step up from being an associate. They used to keep us stuck in this maze of cubicles they call the bullpen. On good days, they'd let some air in and I would remember the feeling of sunlight.

Yeah, I guess that's true. Matt keeps telling me I'll sleep better at night with an empty conscience, knowing I'd done some good for the world.

I keep telling him that I'd sleep better if I had a pillow-top mattress and thousand thread count sheets in an apartment on the Upper West Side.

Expansion... well, maybe someday. Still a little early to say, but like you said, at least we get to pick our clients personally. Matt's really good at picking the innocent ones, so it makes my job easier at least.
