Yeah. I'm feeling a *little* better.
Still, it's a lot to be careful with, on Twitter RP and around here altogether. This alternate version of The Penguin may be genuinely nice and all-too-polite, but I won't feel better until I'm around my friends again. Which will be hopefully soon.
I'm not sure what Invincible Creepy Stalker's magical item can be. I'll have to hear him out to know more about it.
Oh, and by the way? Nexus's new request? Talk about timing... I can't stay around Kyle and Declan for too long, because you know. Vertigo wanting me for all this fairly new power I don't know the limits of yet. [Here's hoping those back at Home Nexus are faring well against that vile reptile, and her warriors. And her right hand sorceress.]
I can hardly wait for the day when I start to become a little less targeted.
[Perhaps she'd feel less stressed of any of her close friends and boyfriend came by to see her.]

[Lots have happened since the whole ending of the war in the Nexus.]

And just what do you want, Sephiroth?

[She's not up for dealing with Sephiroth's BS, but she holds back from yelling or losing her temper overall. Her level of resentment is calm, with a touch of smart-ass.]
In knowing this, I don't believe you're here for a friendly chat.

More of an acquaintances wouldn't you say? The question is what are you doing here and what are you wanting?

She’s rolling her eyes at him in annoyance as she thinks, Really? Really...? She’s very aware of how uncomfortable Sephiroth makes Nexus feel, but she’s not letting that bother her.
Instead of letting herself get pissed off at him, she suddenly has a hunch as to why he’s trolling her. Nexus, in listening to her thoughts doesn’t hesitate to agree.]
Acquaintances? [A slightly amused grin comes to her face. Doesn’t he know how ridiculous he sounds? She brings forth some wit in her voice.] Maybe when agreeing to disagree, but not much more than that.
What up, Seph? Are you sizing me up? I already know this news has traveled quickly. I may as well be shiny new competition, sharing the same powers with Nexus.
I already knew ahead of time that I’d be targeted, when I agreed to be the keeper of her Core. Most definitely by Vertigo. I wouldn’t be surprised if you’re plotting the same thing.
[She fears and hates Vertigo, but doesn’t show it. She’s also not scared of Sephiroth, for the most part, as she’s looking right at those green feline eyes of his. Her words aren’t exactly out of hatred. But confidence. She’s brimming with it.] So, am I getting warmer? Or do you have more pointless cryptic things to say?

[Jealous? Not so much. Curious? Oh yes.]
You're a fool to believe that I would seek such a power as the Nexus. It is far too unstable for one individual to hold inside of them. Vertigo is a fool also if she thinks she can harness the great power within her which is the Nexus. No, perhaps there are other means the great power can be contained, or not.
[Perhaps, he was thinking of unleashing the great power somehow. Turn it against Mari and her friends. Yes, revenge might be sated then.]

Sephiroth doesn’t want to come in contact with Nexus’s Core. Now her confidence rises up a notch. In regarding what he knows and what he doesn’t, Nexus takes that moment to confide in Mari on how much more truth can be revealed to him.
Of course, he doesn’t know the whole truth about what happened. How the island reverted back to the town, forests, and mountains. How the Nexus didn’t just transfer her core into Mari. That wouldn’t have resolved anything at all. Both Nexus and Mari herself know this.]
What if I helped you understand better? Nexus didn’t choose me without her consent. There are reasons as to why she chose me. We discussed it, and of course I didn’t agree at first, because of the first time I’ve felt wronged. This being the time before Xargin and I met... [Nexus inside Mari cringes a little over what Mari has just explained. But she isn’t all that resentful over those she lost at her original world anymore.]
And damn right it’s foolish to just try and make a mad grab to make Nexus work through me. She’s a free spirit of sorts.
She’s also sort of a pacifist. Which is why she didn’t allow for you or Xargin to die when the war ended. And, of course, it’s just not safe for anyone if she takes action all by herself. Y’know, with the whole island thing that passed?
[Mari sighs, and won’t let herself sound angry about his buddy. She still hasn’t forgiven Xargin though. Going to see him would just cause her stress, in addition to feelings of resentment.]
