You're feeling guilty, right? 'Cause of bringing me out when you've been talking about all those other folks, instead? Like when you say that you're gonna go out for chocolate ice cream and you've got a friend who wants some too, but maybe they can't go, so you promise to share--only, when you get there it's something like Baskin Robins and they've got all those different flavors like Blue Moon, or Cherry Chocolate Chunk, and you're real-tempted because maybe you oughta do something other than chocolate, seeing as life's all about variety and such.

[Already, her hands are moving fervently, emphasizing each point as she stares off in front of her, brow furrowed over this chilly dilemma]

But then your friend might be disappointed, like maybe thinking you're some kind of flavor-taker-backer, even if you didn't really promise for sure that you'd bring chocolate and you were just thinking it might be nice to share, knowing they liked it too and all and--

[her eyes refocus as her voice suddenly cuts off, an embarrassed smile appearing on her lips]

Though I guess you already know that, seeing as it's your head.

I'm just saying...well, you probably already know what I'm saying, but I'm just saying that maybe it's not so bad, trying something new.
