[It's as if time had reversed when no one was looking. Here is his mother, as beautiful as he had always remembered her to be. As if nothing bad had ever touched her, with that glorious smile plastered on her face. Alphonse would have sworn that he was dreaming-- had it not been for the fact he was incapable of doing so, hadn't been able to for quite some time now.
