Pop culture is, ah . . . an art we all deal in. Movies, books, plays, whathaveyou. It connects us, tells us who we are, where we came from. And uh, heh. Makes for some good jokes.

[his hands in his pockets, he leans toward her conspiratorially]

[Oh, she likes this one. Jeannie giggles into her hands.]

[he shrugs easily, straightening as he steps forward, living in the space he was previously leaning]

You've got way more assets than me, for one. [an innocent glance down. he flashes a smile] I mean, I really couldn't pull that outfit off quite as well as you.

[Her smile never leaves her face as she looks back at him. And blinks twice.]

[His smart suit replaced with an exact replica of her belly dancer outfit. What do you know, he was right. It looks hideous on him.]

[pause. he looks down at his new clothes, lips pressed together as he stares a moment. then he nods]

Yep, I was right. [he REALLY should've seen this coming. he flicks the brim of his fedora and smiles, undeterred] Whaddaya think, could I learn a few moves, make it work?

[More laughs at his discomfort. Jeannie is enjoying this very much. Her arms crossed as she circles around to admire her handiwork.]

I think, as my master says, you should not give up your day job. [Blink, blink, and his smart suit is back as it was.] Or your hat.

[he flips his hat off with an elaborate flick of his wrist, bowing before he tips it back on.

[She bows too, still amused.] And you know how to speak without telling the truth. [Jeannie has used that skill herself quite a few times. It was almost an admirable trait.]
