Only because my poor excuse of a mun thought it was funny to always bring me back from my world at the worst moments.

A dam broke and a town was in the path of the flood. There wasn't anything else that could have diverted it in time.

[Dairine opens her mouth to point out YES, there were other things that could have saved the town in time. A large barrier, a temporary worldgate to send the water to a safe location, moving the town temporarily. However, all of those solutions would involve wizardry and a lot of it. So she slowly closes her mouth and scowls.]
