There are few places in this world to which I feel bound, fewer still where I might say I truly belong and Whitechapel is one of them. It is in that borough I make good my life and where my purpose lies. The protection of its streets may seem a small matter to you but, to me, it is nothing less than paramount.

Yet you seek to snatch me away from them. You would have me removed elsewhere to the benefit of none but yourself. For your own... amusements.
