Voice-Testing for a long overdue OC account

Ah, so you're finally attempting to find a voice for me!

[She laughs lightly.]

I don't mind, honestly! It's just nice to finally have a view on things. It's certainly very different than my little village. I wonder if I'll be lucky enough to come across something otherworldly here. Father often used to tell me tales of fairy folk, forrest spirits and even dragons!

[She smiles quite fondly upon that.] But even so. I doubt a dragon would ever want to come to our quaint home. There's certainly not much to offer.

I hope I'll manage to make some new friends whilst you're letting me speak for a while anyhow.

Unwilling to entertain her Mun's whims Az turns to leave, only dragons aren't exactly known for their stealth and there's no way Sora can miss the sound of her footfalls.]

[Sora's stood on the spot because she's always dreamt of meeting a dragon but never did she expect to see one so soon. She's startled because she honestly doesn't know what will happen. They look to be such huge fearsome creatures but one shouldn't judge before one gets to know someone should they.]

Please, don't be alarmed! I didn't mean to scare you.

[It's not everyday that Shinobu wanders these parts but when he does, it's always an adventure. Today is no different in that regard but he does find himself curiously eying the pretty little woman nearby.

Did she just mention something about fairies and dragons? That makes him smirk a bit.]

Stories about dragons and fairies are pitifully mundane if you ask me.

Oh no, Not at all. I find them incredibly inspiring...

It must be nice to have that freedom to fly.

I would guess. I never had much reason to experiment with flying. Though, I like to climb up high places.

Though I suppose, something like that isn't too unusual! [She chuckles,gathering up the fabric of her dress before she sits down.]

My mun tells me you're familiar with someone from my future. Though she won't inform me of who this person is. I can only imagine what fate must have in store for someone like me.

Yes, but since when has "danger" ever been a worthy deterrent for adventurous men?

[He chuckles aloud as he smooths back his hair. The last thing he wants to do is scare the poor dear, so he hides his catlike ears for now under his long blond mane. This typically works to conceal some of his feline features.]

Hmmm... well... I suppose that would depend on who you ask. I've found conversation and a new friend to be more valuable than any material offerings.

[Skyfire shifts himself somewhat awkwardly, curls up a bit, and nearly half sits on his tail. He's attempting to make himself look smaller and hopefully non threatening... Though small is rather difficult and somewhat of a stretch when one is longer than a bus...]

[He can't help but chuckle a little, glad that at least she doesn't seem to be panicked about his size and appearance... Or at least so he hopes.]

I can't say anything for others, but I've been around a very long time...

[Letting out a soft huff, he gives her what he hopes is a reassuring smile and adds]

Though I've found my mundane is rather... fond, of putting me in situations that can become quite, awkward. Or at the very least be misinterpreted.

Are dragons a real thing where you're from? I'm afraid my father was more interested in filling my head with what he considered "practicalities" over fairy tales. Never hurt to fantasize at the time though.

They say they keep themselves in hiding. But who would blame them? Human can be dangerous around things they don't truly understand.

Anything is possible. There's a thread of truth even in fairytales.

Definitely. Fear's usually the main component in situations like that too. Doesn't help there are outside influences that can and will encourage it if they think it will benefit them somehow.

I've met a dragon once, she was very nice to me.

Could you please tell me more about her, I've always wanted to meet a dragon...I can't imagine fully the manner of creature they are. But I can't help but think they really aren't all that different to you or I.

[Sora smiles at the young man, making his presence known to her.]

I found her one day while I was wondering snowy mountains, she had exhausted herself I guess from the flight so I took her in and helped her feel better.

[Chuckles quietly as he looked down.]

When she woke up she was nice about me helping her, I had to settle her down though she was pretty stubborn about leaving right away. Even though the snow condition weren't good at all. She has a good head on her shoulders I think.

So yea, not so different from anyone else really, but I never figured otherwise.

...It's so strange. People portray dragons as monstrous beasts yet I've heard so many tales today and even came across two different dragons who have been anything but.

I'm so pleased to know someone feels the same way as I do.

[She looks up to the sky.] It would be so nice if we could all live together without fear of one another.

I can guarantee that a lot of dragons are actually fond of quaint, and enjoy good company as much as the next person.

Rather a bold species sometimes, and a lot more curious than you'd expect....I know at least one that also enjoy tea time.

[Enter one incredibly casual and totally normal person.]

Dunno much 'bout the fey, though I've heard the same said about them too...at least some of them...

I'd still really love to meet one someday, and who knows perhaps we could grow to be good friends.

And speaking of tea, I think it is about that time of day... would you care for some, sir?

[And off goes Sora to brew some tea for the stranger, to be honest it looks as if he needs one. Moments later she returns with a try with two cups and a teapot ready to pour more tea if needed.]

I've met dragons today here and yet for some reason it doesn't feel enough. Maybe because I know they won't effect me later on in life or in my own story.

So what brings you to me I wonder?
