You don't know when to stop, do you? You were supposed to be working on your homework, not messing around on your computer. You decided to take those extra classes anyway.
Look, I don't really care about your choices. Just don't come crying when you're working overnight again this week.

[Mun says Hal pls don't, you're not the model of healthy.]

Hey, early bird catches the worm they say. What's wrong with working out before sunrise?
[For the record, mun is actually working AND tagging so she shouldn't be criticized.]

[Mun is flawless and so is her schedule ok ♥]

And what does that saying mean then, Otacon?
[MUN IS FINALLY GOING HOME BRB]
no subject
It means... look, the garbage truck goes around on the morning, right? And what do you find in garbage? There are worms there, Dave. So, worms may fall from the cans or trashbags... And then the early birds catch them.
But they haven't earned them. [Hal pushes his glasses] They are literally just picking the worms up from the floor, no effort at all. And besides, how tasty a trash-covered worm may be? So the birds are settling for an easier, but nastier, alternative.
Basically, the meaning is: Don't be like the birds. Wake up later, like everybody else does.
trying some new formatting thing don't mind me ok
[Now, he takes his time to actually listen to what explanation you come up to the saying, although half of it sounds like random rambling and babbling. Still, there's something off with your explanation so he shoots the question anyway.] Isn't the first bird who arrives the one that grabs the best worm?
It's ok :3
That's rude, Snake. Are you doubting my words? I have vast knowledge in metaphors, y'know. [He teases, all smirking pokerface.]
I think I finally made up my mind with formatting
[And there he is, smirking back right at you.] Yeah, you're good as long as you don't analyze any chinese proverbs. Never thought japanese cartoons would turn to be a bad influence.
Re: I think I finally made up my mind with formatting
[He huffs:]Excuse me, but my Chinese proverbs are flawless. And my Japanese cartoons are a great influence - You'd know if you sit to watch with me. It's just once a week, Dave.
I could bring the computer over to bed to watch more comfortably, you know.

Yeah. Too bad it's got nothing to do with her homework. Worst thing is I, alone, have to deal with her moods later.
no subject
What kind of moods does she have?
no subject
About her moods… it's usually guilt for lurking instead of working. Pins herself down to the point of feeling depressed and avoids talking until she has taken it too far. She gets things done in the end though, after all the mopping.

A woman mundane? Ah. That might explain some of your mood swings. I have a guy got a mundane, so that might equal the odds some? He usually plays video games when he isn't interested in writing with me.
no subject
Yeah, a woman mundane. Can't really complain, taking her moods aside. We've been together for years and I've seen her improving herself quite well. At least she takes her training seriously now.
Hmmh, I suppose that could equal the odds, although she does the same your mundane does when she wants to avoid work. Not a good thing to me.

I don't know how it would feel having a woman as a mundane. Perhaps, it would be different, somehow more emotional? I don't know. [He was more focused on working at Mother Base with the men, not talking about women's emotions.]
Your mundane plays video games too?
no subject
Depends. Haven't been with other mundanes, so I can't say. She's not the emotional type though but more of an observer. Hearing her conclusions is rather interesting at times. [Not like emotions are his favorite subject anyway. He'd rather be under training instead of analyzing.]
Yeah. Just finished this certain game and was left with even more questions. [Meaning the mun finished MGSV and is planning to bring a certain someone to the game.]

There are always questions to be answered, Snake. I'll do my best to try and aid you in answering them. [Just like he helped your dad, the Boss.]

don't mind me, I'm still making up my mind with the formatting
Don't worry, there's still time for us to make it up for all the bonding left to do. [He knows you're joking. And so he does too.]
Re: it's fine ^-^
Oh, bonding. Why, Brother, I never knew you cared.

At least night time is sometimes the easiest times to crack down. Nice and quiet, in the right environment.
