I'm alive. Yeah. I don't intend to give up yet either, I can't. There's so much I- we need to do. The Boss is back and I intend to help him as much as possible to rebuild what we had. We're Diamond Dogs, we don't just give up, no matter what the cost. [An arm and a bit of leg? So what?]

Cypher needs to be stopped at all costs after what it did to me and my comrades. Don't you see that? All that needless death and suffering and I couldn't do a damn thing about it. [He's so angry inside it burns.]

We have hope now and I don't want that hope ruined by anything. Nothing. Please, try to understand what I am trying to achieve here. [Listen to him, mun.] I know I'm no longer the poster pin-up boy I used to be but I'm still the same man inside and have the same dreams as I used to. The mind can be ten times stronger than the body, you know.

[There's a great deal here that Mac baby isn't sure how to respond to, but he can always admire someone who seems really determined to do what sounds like good things.]

It's just like my trainer says... you can push past a lot of pain an' tiredness 'cause it's a mind over matter sorta thing. The body ain't nothin' without the willpower to keep fightin', y'know?

Yeah, I totally agree. You and you alone are capable of knowing what your body can and cannot do. When you're under stress or emotional need, you can push yourself longer and harder. Yet, you don't want to over do it at the same time.

Diamond Dogs are an organisation created by the Boss and myself. He is the forerunner of the military organisation. We like to think of it more of a business than a group of mercenaries running a private army.
