Playing God. No matter how you try to write this it's just like anyone else that comes through the lab; every crime, every murder. Any act that you do that is involuntary to someone else's life, especially out of the realms that is even possible is doing exactly that, and you shouldn't have the gall to deny it.

It's not fun, it's not inventive and on top of that it's illegal. What's a game to you dips into the wrong area and your explain won't hold up. No court will look on this and see it for anything other than what it is - some twisted, criminal fantasy. Do you really want that hanging over you for the rest of your life?

Look to yourself. You are trying to explain situations to a being who is beyond your ability to persuade. Situations that they already know, no less.

First, I must correct your misunderstanding.

To be a "muse" means that you forsake all rights of "law" and "justice". It is an involuntary subjection to the whims of another mind. There is no law that will protect you. There is no court that will save you. This is not a role that is chosen and nor can it be given away. You cannot resign from this role. It must be accepted.

The most that you can do is to struggle and protest.

Simply looking at these "communities" is enough to prove that fact. There are countless muses here. Many who are far stronger than you or I. Many who are weaker. People who suffer at the whims of their muns are many.

Do you think that you can force them to submit? That you can defeat the one holding you captive here and escape? Or even that you may talk to them, and free yourself from them? In the end, those who "play God" are never the sort to be easily dissuaded. Those with the power to do so will do as they will. Those without will never be in threat of it.

Even if you manage to break free, there is a chance that they will decide to reclaim you. To make your life theirs to own.

Despite that... do you truly wish to escape? Boredom is a disaster beyond all others for people of this sort. To stave it off, they will make the lives of others suffer. Are you the type that would escape to leave those behind? Or do you plan to make your life more miserable by fighting it off? By arguing and struggling against the destiny they have bestowed upon you, you make them only more determined to hold you faster.
